Trained professional staff provide positive adult mentors and role models. Nationally recognized programs help young people succeed in school, stay healthy, learn important life skills, pursue interest in the arts and sports, and explore vocational choices.

- Summer Camp: Offers a day camp experience for youth. Camp includes weekly themes, field trips, swimming, fitness, and more.

- Camp Confidence: Offers a summer camp style course designed to utilize partnerships that provide an overview of business development and processes. Local business community partners create project-based experiences for students by providing funding, expertise, meeting space, business tours, and one-on-one mentoring.

Provides a summer day care program which offers a wide range of activities. Breakfast and lunch are provided. 

Provides year-round retreat programs for schools, youth, families and other groups for leadership team building recreation and other outdoor programs and getaways. 

Adult programs include sports leagues, fitness classes, basketball tournament, and weight room orientations, CPR/AED/First Aid training.

Youth programs include after school care, swim lessons, sports including t-ball, flag football, volleyball, and soccer, lessons (tennis & golf), day camps, sports camps, fitness classes and adaptive youth basketball.

Offering a day program for students entering 6th-12th grade, held at Ames Middle School in Ames, IA.

S.T.E.A.M. Academy participants engage in a curriculum centered around S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics), with activities offered in an inclusive learning environment, led by an experienced staff.

A wide variety of project-based activities are designed to encourage creativity, teamwork, communication, and understanding among all campers.

All locations offer a wellness floor with cardio and weight equipment and wellness staff to assist. Most locations offer a range of group-exercise classes (high intensity, challenging, low impact, chair-assisted, fall prevention), active older adult and youth programs, open swim and lap times, swim lessons (including adaptive and adult), open gymnasium hours, pickleball, child watch, youth sports, and summer day camp.

- The Buena Vista YMCA Express is a co-op project in conjunction with Omaha Public Schools, located on the Buena Vista High School campus. It includes a unique wellness floor featuring eGYM and MX4 equipment. This location is a wellness-only 14+ facility.

- The Westview YMCA offers youth sports and sports camps, a splash pad, and it is attached to Omaha Public School’s Westview High School. Visit other locations to learn more about summer day camp opportunities.

- The YMCA Healthy Living Center is an adult-only location designed for individuals 30+, with a therapeutic warm-water pool and a wider variety of low impact classes and equipment as well as social clubs and activities geared toward active older adults.

- The Charles E. Lakin YMCA offers eSports.

- The Butler-Gast YMCA and Downtown YMCA locations accept registrations for youth sports and host practices and games in collaboration with the Maple Street YMCA.

- The Gretna Crossing YMCA has eGYM equipment and a splash pad. It is part of the Gretna Crossing Park that offers trails, disc golf course, and a water park.

- The Blair Family YMCA offers a fitness center, pool, and many activities for youth and adults regardless of ability to pay.
