An outdoor rink that will be open for the winter season weather permitting. It is located at 2500 Grand Avenue in West Des Moines.

The activity center offers a wide variety of meeting room spaces, as well as two dining rooms, available for public rental. The Grand Ballroom located on the second floor of the building provides an excellent space for wedding receptions and large dinner gatherings for up to 200 people.

Waukon City Park offers horseshoe courts; outdoor swimming pool; sand volleyball courts; 4 large and 5 small shelters with grills, additional grills located throughout the park; three small playgrounds and 1 large playground (Hideaway Park); campground with facilities; hikers trail; and fishing pond. Depending on the weather, an ice skating rink will be open is located at the park for use.
