Community Ice Skating Rink, 506 South East Peterson Drive, Ankeny is available when ice freezes for hockey and skating. Open as long as weather permits, and the ice remains frozen. A green sign will be posted to indicate when the rink is open.

Living History Farms is an interactive outdoor history museum, which educates and connects all peoples to the many stories of Midwestern rural heritage. Our 500-acre, open-air museum represents three centuries of Iowa agriculture with a 1700 Iowa Farm, 1850 Pioneer Farm, 1900 Horse-Powered Farm, and 1876 town of Walnut Hill.
