Provides a grief support group that is open to those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. The participants gather to share feelings and common experiences and also to support and pray for one another. Offers a Women Survivors of Sexual Abuse Support Group. This group is open to women who are currently or have in the past been sexually abused. It could be a one-time occurrence or have happened multiple times. They meet to offer support, do book studies, listen to occasional speakers, and pray for one another.

Provides support for individuals mourning the loss of a loved one. Services include bereavement counseling, social workers support, grief support groups, educational programs, and memorial gatherings.

GriefShare is a 13-week nationally recognized support group for those grieving the loss of a loved one offered periodically throughout the year.

Offers a safe and confidential grief support that is facilitated by a Licensed Master Social Worker. The support group is offered in six week intervals and registration is required. It provides support, education on grief and bereavement, coping skills, self-care, and what to expect.

Provides support for individuals mourning the loss of a loved one. Services include bereavement counseling, social workers support, grief support groups, educational programs, and memorial gatherings.

Grief groups are sponsored by Serenity Hospice and Home and open to anyone in the community who has suffered a loss.

-- The First Steps Grief Support Group: A bereavement group for anyone who has experienced loss. Offers support as the first steps are taken in dealing with a loss.

-- Living Through Grief: The group uses videos, books, speakers, and discussions to help participants learn more about the grief process, share stories, and regain hope for healing.

The First Steps Grief Support Group meets in the Conference Dining Room at FHN Memorial Hospital, and the Living Through Grief meets in the Deaconess Room at FHN Memorial Hospital.

Support groups include Serving Persons in Crisis Everyday (SPICE), Alcoholics Anonymous women's group, and Grief Share.

Provides bereavement support services, including:

• Counseling: Grief counselors can provide one-on-one assistance for family members, friends, and children suffering a loss of a loved one.
• Support groups: Offers bereavement support groups for adults, teenagers, and children
• Monthly workshops
• Community events: offers events throughout the year to honor the lives of lost loved-ones
• Customized presentations: Grief support staff can present to any community group, school, business, or organization on grief-related topics according to the specific need.
