The Family Resource Center offers a support group for individuals and families who have experienced a loss. The group meets the 3rd Thursday each month from 4 pm to 5 pm at the Family Resource Center.
Hospice care is provided for people of all ages with all diagnoses during the final stage of their life with routine home care, respite care or inpatient care. Cost of these services are covered by Medicare and Medicaid and may also be covered by private insurance, depending on the individual's policy. Daily Room and Board rate is not covered by Medicare or Medicaid and is private pay.

Taylor Hospice House offers a facility with 12 beds and has an RN on duty 24 hours a day for those wanting or needing inpatient hospice care services.

Offers grief support opportunities provided at no cost for anyone in the community. Services include: Amanda the Panda program's grief camps (program listed separately), monthly or quarterly support groups, eight-week educational support groups, memorial gatherings, family nights, peer support and mailed resources. Events and support groups are hosted at EveryStep Hospice locations in eight Iowa communities and at the EveryStep Grief and Loss Services office (home of Amanda the Panda) in West Des Moines. Bereavement counselors are available to meet with families or visit by phone throughout the first year following a hospice patient's death. The counselor can provide families with information or simply lend a friendly ear.

Each session includes a video seminar featuring experts on grief and recovery subjects and the real-life stories of people who have experienced similar losses. Offers grief support services. Primarily focuses on the loved ones of Northern Illinois Hospice patients who have died, however, grief support groups are open to the public.
Activities for men, women, and children living with cancer. Includes "Noogieland", a supervised play area for children with cancer or whose family member has cancer. Adults may enjoy stress-reduction and relaxation sessions, lectures, workshops, music and literature, as well as social events and potluck suppers.

Support groups including "Small Talk" group for children.

Support program is also available for those who have lost someone to cancer or anyone impacted by cancer.
