VIOLENT CRIME ASSISTANCE PROGRAM provides crisis intervention for victims, witnesses and their families in cases who have suffered emotional or physical trauma resulting from violent crimes. Purpose is to assist the victims and their families through support, counseling, advocacy, and agency liaison; as well as assisting the criminal justice system by helping the victim to become a good witness.
