Strategies to Embrace Living with Lupus Fearlessly (SELF) is a free online self-management program designed to help people with lupus live their best life. SELF is tailored to support people with lupus in managing symptoms, stress, medications, and working with their healthcare team.

National Resource Center on Lupus offers a collection of up-to-date resources and information on lupus. The Resource Center educates, empowers, and connects people to lupus resources, programs, and support services.

Health Education Specialists are available to answer questions and provide caring support to people with lupus. Health education specialists are specially trained to provide people affected by lupus with non-medical counseling, disease education, information, and helpful resources. Bilingual (Spanish) health educators are also available.

The Expert Series is an educational podcast that features empowering conversations with leading lupus experts that focus on helping people live well with lupus.

LupusConnect is an online community where people affected by lupus can engage with others to share experiences, find emotional support and discuss practical ways to live and cope with the disease.

Take Charge is a weekly education email series designed to give people with lupus, including those recently diagnosed, tips and resources that can help them better manage their lupus and its everyday challenges.

Lupus and You: Answers. Advocacy. Action. is a free educational series where people with lupus, their family, and friends have the opportunity to learn about the latest in lupus research and helpful resources for managing the disease and hear about ways to engage in advocacy and awareness efforts.

- CAREGIVER AND SELF-CARE HUDDLES: These 30-minute retreats are a relaxing and rejuvenating pause for survivors and caregivers. Learn to find inner calm and a connection to others. Caregiver Huddle meets every Wednesday morning on Zoom, Self-Care Huddle meets early evening on Tuesdays on Zoom.

- COMPANION COUNSELING: Companion counseling services are a combination of generous listening and compassionate presence. Schedule a telephone, Zoom or in-person conversation during the week.

- SUPPORT GROUPS: Join others on the cancer journey by connecting in a support group. Meetings are facilitated by Carolyn Ettinger and are offered in a hybrid fashion (in person and on Zoom).

- LEARNING CIRCLES: Through healing and discovery circles, Wings of Hope affirms that we all have our own healing powers. The circles provide a safe and supportive environment where anyone can explore and engage in their own healing.

- GUIDED IMAGERY: This evidence-based meditation technique promotes relaxation and healing. Streaming audios are available online.

- HEALING GARDEN PROGRAMMING: In addition to opportunities for individual healing in our indoor garden space, Wings collaborates with community experts to offer complementary medicine programs on a monthly basis.

- HOPE CHEST RENEWAL ROOM: Provides free wigs, hats and other practical care items.

- HEALING TOUCH: A certified Healing Touch Practitioner provides therapy that works with each person's energy field to support their natural ability to heal. Gentle Touch assists in balancing the individual's physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.

- HOPE PROGRAM: The cost of treatment can be overwhelming. Wings of Hope provides vouchers to assist qualified patients with symptom management medications, nutritional supplements, transportation assistance and home medical equipment.

Center for Sleep Medicine where registered polysomnographic technologists conduct sleep evaluations for the diagnosis and treatment of problems such as sleep apnea and excessive snoring, narcolepsy, insomnia, night terrors, sleepwalking, and shift work adaptation. Telephone: (402) 481-9646

Urinary Incontinence Service is a confidential, individualized program which assists women with urinary stress incontinence to regain muscle control. Clients are given instruction in how to perform the Kegel technique, as well as the use of biofeedback-assisted muscle training to control stress or urgency incontinence. Support Group open to stroke survivors and their families. This group brings together stroke survivors and their caregivers for mutual help, fellowship, education, and service to others.

Free programs assist adult cancer survivors and caregivers:

-- Survivorship 101: For cancer patients and their caregivers, a 9 week program is available in person or over Zoom in small group settings by professional facilitators. Provides survivorship education, emotional/mental health support and rehabilitation. Survivors connect with and provide support to each other.

--Under 45 Survivorship 101: Same program as above, but tailored especially for the under 45 age demographic.

-- Brain Fog Program: A 6 week program over Zoom by professional facilitators in small groups for survivors post-cancer treatment. Brain exercises, memory support tools, and research-proven methods for mental stability for both cancer and Covid survivors.

Provides information and referral services to those affected by Parkinson Disease. Support groups are available throughout the state.
