Young Families Incentive Program for parents of young children. Parents earn points by participating in healthy, educational activities that will assist their children in a stronger future. Points are then used to 'purchase' needed infant and toddler items.

Provides community to women and men dealing with infertility, connecting them with others who can help, empowering them to find resolution, and advocating for access to all family building options.

Peer led support groups are hosted by a volunteer and are composed of a varying number of people. Groups are often "drop in" in nature and last about two hours. Groups currently meeting in Bellevue, Nebraska and in Coralville, Waterloo, and Burlington, Iowa.

Support groups are led by a mental health professional. Individuals can process feeling relating to infertility or their family building efforts. Often composed of 8 to 10 individuals or 4 to 5 couples and scheduled weekly for 10-12 weeks. Support group leaders often have an intake appointment with each participant prior to the start of the group.

Provides fathers with individual and group counseling to address parenting issues such as adjusting to fatherhood, handling environmental stress (family, work, neighborhood), anger management, coping with grief and loss, and regulating emotion.

Educates and equips parents and children with necessary tools for healthy relationships. Services are administered through parent coaching and mentoring, parent support groups, support groups for parents with children with disabilities, camp experiences for children, connection to community resources and emotional and financial (when available) support.

Welcomes pregnant and/or parenting adolescents (age 19 and younger) and their support persons (partner, family member etc.) to a weekly informative and supportive meeting incorporating topics such as maternal health, parenting and emotional well-being. Provides transportation and childcare services as well as a free meal for participants and their children each week.

We offer home-visits, group-based parent education programs, and prenatal services.

Offers single parents the opportunity to bring their child(ren) to a safe, fun, and developmentally-appropriate program led by caring adults. This allows single parents to enjoy several hours of uninterrupted time (support) for running errands, studying, or simply having some alone time.

Community support for moms of children birth through grade school.

Strives to meet the needs of every mom with children from birth through adult, celebrating the joys of motherhood and encouraging each other through the challenges.

A devotion and prayer is offered at each meeting. Meetings consist of speakers, crafts, and games but primarily focus on fellowship. Childcare is available but mothers are welcome to bring their children into the meeting if they prefer.

Weekly group meetings are held for young adults pregnant or parenting a childbirth until entry into kindergarten. Each meeting provides a meal, parent/child activities, childcare and parenting discussion groups. Groups are provided for expecting parents, childbirth, newborn, infant moms, toddler moms, preschool moms, dads, Hispanic Moms and Hispanic Dads, African French/Swahili families.

A voluntary program for prenatal families and families of children from birth to 5 years. This program is based on the belief that parents are their child's first and most influential teachers. Personal home visits to help parents know what to expect as child grows. Activities to help with child's development. Regular developmental and health screens. Referral network for additional services.

GROUP MEETINGS based on interest and concern are held monthly.

LENDING LIBRARY with toys and books available for participants.

FAMILY CABINET uses a point system used to earn diapers, formula, and other baby supplies.

Provides educational workshops for children whose parents are divorcing help kids understand and cope with family changes. Children are grouped by age and workshops use artwork, games, discussion, videos and role-playing to help kids know what to expect and how to handle common divorce scenarios. Kids also learn they are not alone and the divorce is not their fault. Workshops are held after school and Saturday mornings in Cedar Rapids and North Liberty.

Offers a variety of activities including Wednesday Dinner at 5:30 pm at Mother To Mother, Thursday Playdate at 4:30 pm at Mother To Mother, and Friday Coffee with the Coordinator at 10:30 am. Mothers must bring a child along to attend these activities.

Offers family programming for parents of children age(s) 0-5 twice a week. Parents are welcome to bring their children and drop them off in our child care room, while they either take a break in the parent room, attend one of our guest speakers, or chat with our parent educators or other parents about child development. A nightly parenting class is also offered during the fall and spring that meets DHS requirements.

Provides fellowship and support to members, and information about the joys and challenges of raising twins, triplets and more in Des Moines and the surrounding area.

Provides support, friendship and connections with other families who are raising multiples.
