Divorce workshops for children help kids involved in divorce cases understand what is happening between their parents while teaching them ways to cope with the changes that come with divorce.
Provides support services to pregnant and parenting teens and their families through home visits with a pediatric nurse practitioner and family support workers. Prenatal and postnatal education, support groups, child development classes, respite child care, case management and advocacy and referral is available.

Four-year-old free preschool program.

Early Development Network provides service coordination for children, birth to three years, with disabilities or special needs to access community services. Families are linked with developmental evaluations through the schools, Nebraska Health and Human Services programs, health resources, parent-to-parent support, and other supports and services as identified by the families' priorities.

Provides community to women and men dealing with infertility, connecting them with others who can help, empowering them to find resolution, and advocating for access to all family building options.

Peer led support groups are hosted by a volunteer and are composed of a varying number of people. Groups are often "drop in" in nature and last about two hours. Groups currently meeting in Bellevue, Nebraska and in Coralville, Waterloo, and Burlington, Iowa.

Support groups are led by a mental health professional. Individuals can process feeling relating to infertility or their family building efforts. Often composed of 8 to 10 individuals or 4 to 5 couples and scheduled weekly for 10-12 weeks. Support group leaders often have an intake appointment with each participant prior to the start of the group.

Offers the Baby Bucks program, and one-on-one mentoring with a male mentor.

Break Time offers single parents the opportunity to bring their child(ren) to a safe, fun, and developmentally-appropriate program led by caring adults. This allows single parents to enjoy several hours of uninterrupted time (support) for running errands, studying, or simply having some alone time.

Several Break Times are held throughout the year at multiple locations across the Des Moines metro area in order to serve parents by geographical area (e.g., north, south, east, west). Based on survey data collected from single parents, Break Times are primarily held on Fridays or Saturdays.
Provides training in a peer based format so fathers can sit down and talk about different aspects of their lives and the issues they are facing.
Offers Divorce Care for anyone facing divorce or the end of a long term relationship whether married or not. Follow up course called Rebuilding When Your Relationship Ends to help move forward after the divorce.
Weekly group meetings are held for young adults pregnant or parenting a childbirth until entry into kindergarten. Each meeting provides a meal, parent/child activities, childcare and parenting discussion groups. Groups are provided for expecting parents, childbirth, newborn, infant moms, toddler moms, preschool moms, dads, Hispanic Moms and Hispanic Dads, Afghan families, African French/Swahili families.
Provides a broad range of perinatal services for pregnant and parenting young individuals through the age of 24. Young Moms includes Pregnancy & Childbirth group, Parenting & Life Skills group, Better Beginnings Doula program, higher education resources, and individual support.

Concerned with the natural function of breast feeding of infants. Counseling and information available and regular group meetings held. LLL is an international, non profit, non sectarian organization dedicated to helping women who want to breast feed. Pamphlets available on request.

Support and education groups meet monthly. Meetings last about 1-1/2 hours and cover advantages of breastfeeding, how to breastfeed, starting solids, childbirth, and weaning. Accredited leaders also provide breastfeeding information by phone.

Meeting Information:
Day meeting - held second Tuesday of each month at 10 am at St. John's United Methodist Church, 109 West 14th Street, Davenport in the upstairs children's room.

Night meeting - held fourth Wednesday of each month at 7 pm at UnityPoint Hospital, Bettendorf, Room 2224; dads welcome at this meeting.
