Home provision for single parents offers minor handyman services, such as furniture assembly or removal, installation and or repair of towel bars, light switch covers door handles, and minor patchwork and painting. 

Offers small parent-child groups designed for families with children, birth to 3 years, to share parenting questions and concerns, to celebrate their babies' achievements, and to have fun with books, toys, songs, and fingerplays. These take place in a variety of community sites.

Offers support and education groups that cover the advantages of breastfeeding, how to breastfeed, starting solids, childbirth, and weaning. Groups meet monthly, and meetings last about 90 minutes. Accredited leaders also provide breastfeeding information by phone.

Meeting Information:

- Day meeting - Held the second Tuesday of each month at 10 am, at St. John's United Methodist Church (109 West 14th Street, Davenport, in the upstairs children's room).

- Night meeting - Held the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7 pm, at UnityPoint Hospital, Bettendorf (Room 2224); dads are welcome at this meeting.

Breastfeeding support center offering individual consultations for mothers and babies having difficulty with breastfeeding. Board certified lactation consultants available by appointment.

Breastfeeding supplies, including nursing bras and breast pumps available for purchase.

Hospital grade breast pump and baby scale rentals.

Free drop-in weight checks during open hours.

- Free meetings led by volunteer Leaders who are experienced with breastfeeding and are accredited by La Leche League International.

- Support between meetings for breastfeeding challenges, such as positioning and latch, being sure the baby is getting enough milk, soreness, pumping and milk storage, etc.

- Teaches parents about the ages and stages of breastfeeding.

- Creates a community of support by bringing breastfeeding families together.
