Support and education groups meet monthly. Meetings last about 1-1/2 hours and cover advantages of breastfeeding, how to breastfeed, starting solids, childbirth, and weaning. Accredited leaders also provide breastfeeding information by phone.

Meeting Information:
Day meeting - held second Tuesday of each month at 10 am at St. John's United Methodist Church, 109 West 14th Street, Davenport in the upstairs children's room.

Night meeting - held fourth Wednesday of each month at 7 pm at UnityPoint Hospital, Bettendorf, Room 2224; dads welcome at this meeting.

Provides fathers with individual and group counseling to address parenting issues such as adjusting to fatherhood, handling environmental stress (family, work, neighborhood), anger management, coping with grief and loss, and regulating emotion.
Offers a birth center in the Waterloo Medical Center location. Provides pregnant women a team of OB/GYN, midwives and nurses to help through the pregnancy and birth process. Also offers a variety of classes and support groups for parents and families including prenatal, childbirth, breastfeeding, Lamaze and baby basics.

YPN prenatal and parenting education is offered in French/Swahili to members of the African Community via our weekly group meetings or home visitations. Staff understand the language and culture barriers and help families navigate.

Weekly group meetings are held for young adults pregnant or parenting a childbirth until entry into kindergarten. Each meeting provides a meal, parent/child activities, childcare and parenting discussion groups. Groups are provided for expecting parents, childbirth, newborn, infant moms, toddler moms, preschool moms, dads, Hispanic Moms and Hispanic Dads, Afghan families, African French/Swahili families.
Provides educational workshops for children whose parents are divorcing help kids understand and cope with family changes. Children are grouped by age and workshops use artwork, games, discussion, videos and role-playing to help kids know what to expect and how to handle common divorce scenarios. Kids also learn they are not alone and the divorce is not their fault. Workshops are held after school and Saturday mornings in Cedar Rapids and North Liberty.

Relationships 101 helps men build and maintain healthy relationships by exploring issues such as boundaries, self-esteem, communication, and healing.
Support group and video seminar for those who need help to heal from the hurt of divorce. Class sessions are usually held twice yearly and starting dates vary from year to year.
Offers support groups via Zoom meetings to women who are having trouble with infertility. Meetings are held biweekly. Support groups are free of charge and last 60 minutes. Zoom link emailed the day of meeting. Participants can join at any time, with or without audio/video.
