When contacting the Access Center by phone or walking in, individuals are first evaluated by a mental health professional who will identify presenting problems. After consultation with a psychiatrist, potential patients will be matched with appropriate care within the hospital's programs or with other community resources.
Access Center offers Psychiatric Crisis/Emergency Assistance. All services through the emergency Access Center are of no cost to the patient or the referring party.

Orchard Place can accept children of average or potentially average intelligence who evidence a desire for help and a willingness to make a commitment to treatment. No child is denied admission on the basis of race, religion, creed, or residence.

Sexual Offenders Community Residential Program provides comprehensive treatment to individuals who demonstrate a pattern of sexually deviant behavior. The 85-bed male patient population includes convicted sex offenders who are offered treatment and patients committed by a mental health board. In addition, five of the beds are for female sex offenders. Aftercare services are also provided for individuals who have successfully completed the treatment program and are reintegrating into the community.
The Whitehall Program for adolescents who have sexually offended provides residential levels of care. Referrals are accepted for males ages 12-18. The program is family-centered and community-based.
