Mental health services include mental health evaluations and individual, group, family, and couples counseling. Things that may be addressed in a session could include, but not limited to, the following: anxiety, ADHD, depression, grief, sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, trauma, sex addiction, sexual offenses, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or psychosis. These sessions may occur at the agency, home, jail, or school. Therapists specialize in trauma focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, adoption, art therapy, parent child interactive therapy, and motivational interviewing.

Substance use and addictions services include evaluations, counseling, and intervention. Things that may be addressed in a session could include, but not limited to, the following: cannabis, alcohol, methamphetamine, hallucinogens, prescription drugs, gambling, sex, and impulse buying. These sessions may occur at the agency or school.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) helps individuals start the substance abuse recovery journey. The program is individualized and typically lasts approximately three months. Upon the participant's completion of the intensive treatment phase, they transfer to participation in the aftercare group.

Outpatient Therapy Services.

Offers a comprehensive behavioral health program geared toward the adult and senior population. Offers a combination of both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Inpatient care helps to stabilize individuals and prepare them for continued treatment in an outpatient setting. Secure, 22-bed psychiatric unit staffed 24 hours/day.

Outpatient care may be utilized as a stand-alone resource or as a transition from inpatient care. Additional programs offering intensive treatment are available for patients with symptoms of depression or anxiety in need of short-term stabilization or immediate resolution of problem areas.

Individuals may also have the choice of seeing a therapist and/or psychiatrist using video conferencing technology in Ottawa and Streator, so that patients do not have to wait for months to see someone.

Psychotherapy is a collaborative process that involves assessment, establishing goals for treatment, problem solving alternative ways of behaving and interacting to achieve feeling healthy and productive. Clients can select their own therapist based off of background, clinical expertise, cultural competence, and experience.

Provides an outpatient program designed for older adults, typically 65 and older, who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders.
