SASS provides the following services for children and youth:

-- Crisis intervention.

-- Short-term stabilization where a child is at risk of self-harm, or harming others.

-- Individual and family psychotherapy/counseling.

-- Case management and resource linkage assistance.

-- Psychiatric services.

Provides behavioral health services including:
- Adult psychiatry
- Child psychiatry
- Short-term and long-term therapy sessions
- Brief counseling and interventions provided by behavioral health consultants
- Medication Assisted Recovery (MAR) for substance use disorders
- Brief interventions for substance use and referrals to treatment
- Health education groups
- Referrals to community resources

Offers mental health services. Services include, general counseling, teen services, alcohol & addiction services, marriage counseling, domestic violence/sexual assault services, psychiatry and telehealth/virtual services.

Offers a comprehensive behavioral health program geared toward the adult and senior population. Offers a combination of both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Inpatient care helps to stabilize individuals and prepare them for continued treatment in an outpatient setting. Secure, 22-bed psychiatric unit staffed 24 hours/day.

Outpatient care may be utilized as a stand-alone resource or as a transition from inpatient care. Additional programs offering intensive treatment are available for patients with symptoms of depression or anxiety in need of short-term stabilization or immediate resolution of problem areas.

Individuals may also have the choice of seeing a therapist and/or psychiatrist using video conferencing technology in Ottawa and Streator, so that patients do not have to wait for months to see someone.

Psychologists and therapists with specialized training work with children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Offers treatment for depression, anxiety, relationship issues, adjusting to life changes and many other areas including the shock, anger, grief, and other emotions than can accompany a medical diagnosis or chronic health condition (health psychology).

Outpatient services offered includes psychological evaluation; individual therapy; transitional services from inpatient and partial hospitalization; cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia; and specialty surgery evaluations such as bariatric surgery evaluations.

Offers to assist clients in determining the services most suited to their needs. Provides licensed psychiatrist, and includes psychiatric assessment, medication therapy, and monitoring. Individual, couples, family, child/adolescent, and group counseling provided by trained mental health clinicians.

Adult acute psychiatric facility offering a range of treatment and prevention services to patients experiencing mental health challenges.

Trauma Informed Care model is used to provide for the immediate needs of those in crisis. The center follows a multi-occurring treatment model, meaning that patients with a mental illness and a substance abuse diagnosis will have both addressed within their treatment plan.

Therapies used include Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Lifespan Integration, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Technique, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Critical Incident Stress Management, Substance Use Disorder Psychotherapy, and Play Therapy.

Outpatient psychiatric services include evaluations and diagnosis, and medication management.

Provides counseling to adults, adolescents and children, psychiatry, substance abuse counseling, and psychiatric medication services available. Most services provided by the Will County Health Department.

Individualized Treatment Services includes, comprehensive mental health and substance use assessment, counseling services, crisis stabilization, life skills development, and dual diagnosis services.

Substance use treatment services includes, outpatient treatment services, DUI evaluations and risk education, substance abuse education, substance use counseling, and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).

Psychiatric services include, medication assessment, medication monitoring, psychiatric services available in all Sinnissippi Centers' main office locations.

Provides evaluations, counseling, therapy, psychiatry, and psychological testing for patients with mental illness, and significant emotional disorders.

Outpatient mental health services, focusing on:

-- Anxiety disorders.

-- Depression.

-- Schizophrenia.

-- Bi-polar disorder.

TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) is available.

Homeless Mental Health Access Program aims to provide services to homeless individuals.

Provides a variety of services for children and families in order to support and facilitate recovery for mental illness, trauma, disruptive behavior disorders, family relationship problems, and school issues. Services include individual therapy, family therapy, parenting education and skill building, group therapy, consultation to schools and other agencies and psychiatric services.

The goal is to keep troubled families together by offering them intense case management, education in parenting, and links to community resources. A caseworker will help the family to develop a short-term, agreed upon plan to make the changes that will help keep the children safe. Services such as counseling, domestic violence prevention, substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment, parenting coaching/classes, or housing can be provided.

Offers help with youth to develop positive self-concepts and social-emotional and problem-solving skills, while integrating the child with family treatment components.

Provides access to an on-call counselor through the Douglas County Sheriff's Department, offering support for individuals experiencing mental, emotional, or behavioral challenges. Services may include assistance with anxiety, depression, psychoses, adjustment reactions, and other mental health concerns, with a focus on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
