Provides a variety of services for children and families in order to support and facilitate recovery for mental illness, trauma, disruptive behavior disorders, family relationship problems, and school issues. Offers a comprehensive behavioral health program geared toward the adult and senior population. Offers a combination of both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Inpatient care helps to stabilize individuals and prepare them for continued treatment in an outpatient setting. Secure, 22-bed psychiatric unit staffed 24 hours/day.

Outpatient care may be utilized as a stand-alone resource or as a transition from inpatient care. Additional programs offering intensive treatment are available for patients with symptoms of depression or anxiety in need of short-term stabilization or immediate resolution of problem areas.

Individuals may also have the choice of seeing a therapist and/or psychiatrist using video conferencing technology in Ottawa and Streator, so that patients do not have to wait for months to see someone.

Provides evaluations, counseling, therapy, psychiatry, and psychological testing for patients with mental illness, and significant emotional disorders.

Provides and monitors medication to treat various mental health conditions. Medical staff consists of psychiatrists and advanced registered psychiatric nurse practitioners who are licensed to prescribe and monitor medications. This service is also provided via telehealth with providers who are outside of our community but who have an Iowa license to practice.

Outpatient mental health counseling for individuals and families, including children and  youth ages 6 and older.

Services also include:
- Crisis intervention (for current clients)
- Pre-hospital screening
- Mental health assessments
- Case management
- Community support
- Psychiatric evaluation

Offers help with youth to develop positive self-concepts and social-emotional and problem-solving skills, while integrating the child with family treatment components.
