Provides skill-building and behavior support for children and adolescents who experience emotional, social, or behavioral challenges. BHIS is a home- and community-based service designed to help youth develop the tools they need to succeed at home, in school, and in daily life.

BHIS focuses on teaching practical skills such as:

- Emotional regulation.

- Problem-solving and decision-making.

- Social and communication skills.

- Conflict resolution.

- Coping strategies for stress, anger, and frustration.

- Positive behavior reinforcement.

- Healthy routines and daily living skills.

Services are delivered by trained BHIS providers who work closely with the child, family, and therapist to reinforce therapeutic goals and support long-term progress. Sessions may take place in the home, school, or community, depending on the needs of the child and family. BHIS is designed for youth who benefit from structured, skills-based support outside of traditional therapy.

Adult In Home Respite Care

Provides in-home case management as well as 24-hour response to emergencies. Services include a case manager who will monitor individuals weekly to ensure they are linked with the necessary resources and referrals for both inpatient and outpatient drug treatment programs. Services may also include weekly in-home and out-of-home counseling for adults, children, couples, and families. Families may also be referred to a number of community-based services, including medical services, counseling, drug or alcohol treatment support groups, food pantries, housing, employment training, and continuing education programs.

Offers individual, couple, and family psychotherapy, as well as psychoactive medications management and monitoring, In-Home Family Therapy (IHFT), and Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS).

Provides remedial services that offer in-home skill development services to children who are eligible for Title 19 and have a mental health diagnosis to enhance functioning. Services provided to children and families include; conflict resolution, problem solving, anger management, coping, social interaction, self control, crisis intervention, and communication skills.

Offers senior's an In-home health/mental health assessment, in-home mental health treatment, case management, and referrals to appropriate community resources. The Outreach Team consists of clinical social workers and a consulting psychiatrist to provide appropriate support services.

Offers the following Community Services:

Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) provides services for adults with intellectual or mental disabilities, a qualifying brain injury or handicapping condition. Individualized support is provided in the client's home or other community-based settings and is available 24 hours.

Home-Based Habilitation Services (HBHS) are designed to assist individuals with serious and persistent mental illness with the acquisition, retention or improvement in skills related to living in the community. Services assist in the daily living needs of the client and can be provided 24 hours a day.

Community Support Services (CSS) provide integrated services and supports to persons with a serious mental illness. Interdisciplinary teams provide assessments and service planning, monitoring of mental health symptoms, medication management, problem-solving assistance, coordination of appointments and transportation and support.

Case/Care Management

Therapy services offered at the office or within the home to best meet the needs of the client. The intensity and duration of treatment varies substantially depending on the presenting problems or difficulties. Therapists may assist with various difficulties, including family issues associated with raising youth with severe behavioral problems, aggression, hyperactivity, anxiety, depression, withdrawal behaviors, and suicidal ideation. Therapists are also qualified to treat all major mental health issues.

Offers treatment within the home through our Behavioral Health Intervention Services. This program includes the following services: counsel individual on relationship building, problem solving, better communication and coping skills to reduce conflict and other emotional issues while strengthening confidence.
Offers Behavioral Health Intervention Services that are supportive, directive and teachable interventions that are provided in a community based environment, most often in the family home. The services are designed to improve the individual's level of functioning and quality of life when living with a mental illness. BHIS assist individuals and families to learn age-appropriate skills to manage behavior and regain control of their lives.

Provides intensive care coordination and wraparound services for Medicaid enrolled children under the age of 21 who have complex behavioral health needs and require intensive home and community-based services. There are two tiers of care coordination including:

-- Tier 1 - High Fidelity Wraparound for children and youth with the most complex behavioral health needs.

-- Tier 2 - Intensive Care Coordination for children and youth with complex behavioral health needs.

Inpatient and outpatient services are offered, as well as seeing clients in residential care facilities and at home. The extensive spectrum of programs cover all age groups, and confidentiality is maintained at all levels of care.
St. Luke's and Abbe also partner with community organizations to provide crisis services for mental health and suicide screenings, services for chemical dependency, addiction, stabilization and more.

Offers Behavioral Health Intervention Services where a counselor uses interventions designed to improve the individual's level of functioning as it relates to a mental illness. These interventions may include: behavior management, relationship skills, communication skills, and problem solving skills. Counselor also provides family assistance, which includes education and support in coping with the individual's mental health symptoms and management of the individual's behaviors. BHIS services are initiated by an assessment done by a licensed therapist.

Provide whole-person, patient-centered, coordinated medical, behavioral and social support services for Medicaid eligible adults with mental illness.

The Integrated Health Program is a free service for those who qualify. The program is designed to improve access to care; improve the overall health care experience; and improve health outcomes of participants. The Integrated Health Program coordinates services for individuals receiving Habilitation Services who are not on another Waiver.
