Assessment counselors determine treatment needs, if any, for others referred by the courts, county, private attorneys, treatment and other health and social service providers, family members and those who are self-referred.

Mental health services include mental health evaluations and individual, group, family, and couples counseling. Things that may be addressed in a session could include, but not limited to, the following: anxiety, ADHD, depression, grief, sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, trauma, sex addiction, sexual offenses, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or psychosis. These sessions may occur at the agency, home, jail, or school. Therapists specialize in trauma focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, adoption, art therapy, parent child interactive therapy, and motivational interviewing.

Substance use and addictions services include evaluations, counseling, and intervention. Things that may be addressed in a session could include, but not limited to, the following: cannabis, alcohol, methamphetamine, hallucinogens, prescription drugs, gambling, sex, and impulse buying. These sessions may occur at the agency or school.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) helps individuals start the substance abuse recovery journey. The program is individualized and typically lasts approximately three months. Upon the participant's completion of the intensive treatment phase, they transfer to participation in the aftercare group.

Family and loved ones are also taught coping skills to assist them in supporting the user build a healthier lifestyle.

Level I Outpatient Therapy provides professionally directed evaluation, treatment and recovery services for individuals experiencing a substance use disorder. Treatment services are provided in group or individual sessions or a combination of both, depending on an individual's needs. Treatment typically lasts 12 weeks.

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a group-focused, non-residential program for adults 19 and older. IOP is more in-depth than traditional outpatient treatment services, offering a minimum of 10 hours of treatment per week. IOP typically lasts six to eight weeks. Intensive groups meet for three-hour sessions, three days a week. Each participant must also attend at least one additional individual or family session each week. Services are available days and evenings.

Substance Use Evaluations are specialized assessments used to clinically determine possible substance use issues, with recommendations for an appropriate level of care if determined to be medically necessary.
