The facility is not prepared to work with persons who are experiencing serious medical problems or complications. The unit is staffed with nurses and behavioral technicians, but it is not a hospital.

Serves adults who are affected by substance abuse. Offers Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is the use of medication, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a whole-patient approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. Also provides medically safe withdrawal and assessment. Requests for adult chemically dependent civil commitments are done for Polk County residents.
