Provides a service center for businesses across the state of Iowa. It receives and approves articles of incorporation for Iowa business and nonprofit entities. The division administers Uniform Commercial Code laws and filings related to business formulations and other business regulation, issues notary commissions, and processes thousands of corporate and commercial documents. The Fast Track Filing system allows for 24 hour access to services and filing processes.

Small business development center assists aspiring entrepreneurs or existing business owners to start, operate, and exit their businesses. Assistance includes counseling in business planning, marketing, financing, accounting, human resources, and market research. Classes in each of these areas are also offered for a nominal fee. Counseling services are free of charge.

Provides programs and support that unite Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander communities in Iowa to drive economic growth and foster community development. Service includes initiatives that promote business and economic growth, cultural and community vitality, leadership development and educational opportunities, and civic engagement.
