Issues permits for construction or building projects. This also includes permits for signs such as billboards. Can also issue permits for the move of houses, street occupancy, zoning services, tower registration, family daycare registration, licenses for electrical, heating, air conditioning, and plumbing.

Offers testing of private wells, well and septic system inspection, radon testing and correction advice. Also provides swimming pool, spa, tanning bed, and tattoo parlor inspections. Complaints: Receives and investigates complaints dumping and other garbage issues, illegal burning, and animal bites. When possible, works with tenant complaints regarding rental home conditions.

Samples residential private water wells for coliform and nitrates upon request of the property owner and refers clients to private labs for more complex well testing.
