This agency services as the coordination point for state and federal relief programs.

Develops and delivers public information and educational programs about disaster preparedness,
Provides administrative and logistical support to the County's Hazardous Materials Response Team,
Plans and conducts exercises that test and improve preparedness,
Assists local industry in writing and preparing their EPCRA Off-Site Plans and Chemical Inventory and Tier II reporting forms,
Maintains a hazardous-materials plan under the Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act, and
Maintains public files of all facilities that use or store hazardous chemicals in excess of 10,000 pounds.
