-- NEBRASKA PEER CENTER (OMAHA): Open to the public, including those banned from local shelters (unless involved in a safety concern). Offers coffee, water, and donuts when available.

-- IOWA PEER CENTER (COUNCIL BLUFFS): Individuals who are banned/barred from local shelters are not welcome. Serving adults with mental health concerns, substance use, or housing instability. Offers water, coffee, phone/computer, peer support staff, optional groups, case management for those who qualify. Hand warmers, gloves, hats, blankets available.

Clothing Closet, located at 905 East 9th Street in Muscatine (563) 261-7456, has limited small furniture, household goods, child/baby and adult clothing (based on donations).

Support services for individuals in need, including showers, a warm place during the day, and transportation for homeless individuals to work.

Cooling center available at campus to cool off from heat and receive breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also offers showers to women in community.

Site available to those in need of a cool place for those with no housing. Water, sunscreen, and lip balm will be available to those who check in.

Available any day when there is a heat advisory affecting the Omaha Metro Area.

Lunch provided 11:30 am-12:30 pm.

Provides heated facilities during cold weather and air conditioned facilities during hot weather.
