Carol's Closet can help veterans, seniors, and persons with disabilities with household items including furniture and bedding, hospital beds, walkers, wheelchairs (including motorized), shower chairs, commodes and adult hygiene items. In addition, Carol's Closet can help families with newborn baby clothes to size 6 children's clothes, diapers, new cribs and car seats, baby essentials, and household items including dishes, furniture and bedding. Carol's Closet also has a handicap accessible van and standing lift for loan with a donation. Carol's Closet accepts donations of good and has opportunities for people to volunteer.

The program provides newly arriving refugees with intensive support services needed to achieve basic self-sufficiency as contributing members of the community, including housing, employment and educational placement.

HCI Giving Tree thrift store offers the resale of gently-used furniture, decor, collectibles and adult clothing. All proceeds from the thrift store sales will go toward services provided to HCI Care Services' patients and their families.

Donations accepted: furniture, antiques/collectibles, china, linens, toys and games, books, CDs , DVDs, VHS, women's clothing, shoes, and handbags. Cannot accept: mattresses, sofa sleepers, computer, any appliances, television, sports equipment, etc. Donation pickups possible, call to make arrangements.

Can assist low-income persons with major appliances, depending on availability (occasionally able to repair major appliances for seniors for free or low cost). Accept donations of old major appliances, working and non-working. They will repair and resale to low income individuals/families at a reduced cost. Are able to pick up items as long as they are outside.

Accepts donations of new or gently-used items are needed for our clothing and household pantry. Items need to be clean, in good condition, in working order, and include all pieces. Damaged or broken items may be turned away. Donations should not be left outside.
