SASS provides the following services for children and youth:

-- Crisis intervention.

-- Short-term stabilization where a child is at risk of self-harm, or harming others.

-- Individual and family psychotherapy/counseling.

-- Mental health assessment.

-- Case management and resource linkage assistance.

-- Psychiatric services.

Provides funding towards a certification to obtain employment and offers necessary supplies to attend classes regularly or begin employment with a living wage or higher.

Provides transportation assistance, nursing, housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, medication set-up and organization, companionship, dementia care, hospice support, life organization, pet care, personal cares like bathing, dressing, toileting, safe walking, and errand running or shopping assistance such as purchasing groceries, picking up prescriptions, handling banking tasks, and other small errands for individuals who are unable or prefer not to perform these tasks themselves.

Provides information on Parkinson's disease, including its causes, symptoms, treatment options, and therapeutic activities to do at home. Also offers resources and insights to foster understanding and awareness about living with Parkinson's disease, promoting positive communication and interaction with individuals affected by the condition.

Offers HAWK-I which provides the CHIP benefits (Children's Health Insurance Program) which offers health care insurance coverage for Iowa children in families with limited incomes.

Offers a basic food pantry to those in need.

Provided at no cost if furnace is malfunctioning. Income must be at or below 200% of poverty guidelines. Applicant must be a county resident and homeowner. Applications are accepted on a year round basis but funding is limited.

Offers SERVSAFE® classes for food service professionals, providing comprehensive training on food hazards, proper food handling practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure food safety and prevent foodborne-illness outbreaks. 

Provides shelter for single women, single women with children, or married couples with children.

Offers voluntary programs to eligible landowners and agricultural producers to provide financial and technical assistance to help manage natural resources in a sustainable manner. Through these programs the agency approves contracts to provide financial assistance to help plan and implement conservation practices that address natural resource concerns or opportunities to help save energy, improve soil, water, plant, air, animal and related resources on agricultural lands and non-industrial private forest land, with emphasis on market stability and commodity pricing.

Offers both short and long-term experiences for youth. Short-term experiences include afterschool programs, camps, school-sponsored activities, conferences, and other events. Long-term experiences include learning communities in agriculture such as county clubs.

Emergency Assistance may be available for adults with minor children.  Limited to rental situations only. Emergency Assistance is available only once in a 24-month period.

Offers biblical-based counseling for individuals, groups, couples, and families. Also provides eCounseling via telephone, email, and Skype.

Provides an advocacy group for persons with mental health concerns and has support groups statewide. It strives to raise public awareness and concern about mental illness, to foster research, to improve treatment and to upgrade the care delivery system.

NAMI offers a variety of support groups and educational programs for those with mental health concerns their family and friends. Support groups include the following: 

- NAMI Connection is a support group for adults living with mental health concerns. Participants learn from each other's experiences, share coping strategies, and offer each other encouragement and understanding.

- NAMI Family Support Group is a support group for family members and loved ones of adults living with mental health concerns. Participants gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar experiences.

Offers services for homeless youth and their families. Helps students enroll or stay in school. Connects families to community resources for health, transportation, food, and more.

Provides a temporary visitors driver's license for non-citizens of the U.S who have been granted temporary, legal entry, and temporarily residing in the State of Illinois.
