Non-residential level-4 outpatient substance abuse program which provides substance abuse counseling and relapse prevention program. Services are offered to individuals abusing substances or individuals who have been affected by someone else's use or abuse of alcohol or other drugs. The availability and accessibility of community-based services allows individuals to remain in their own environment while receiving services that meet their needs in the least restrictive environment.

Works to raise funds to help meet the funding needs of community organizations and allocates funding to a number of different non-profit agencies. Business contributions accepted.

Provides service coordination, nutrition services, and health assessments for children ages 0-3 enrolled in Early ACCESS (Early intervention for infants and toddlers). 

Provides door-to-door and fixed route transportation services. Transportation passes also available for purchase.

Provides food boxes.

Offers an income-based program which provides IDs for free bus fares. Passengers who qualify for free fares must present proof of free fare eligibility when riding the bus.

Offers library services. Items that may be borrowed from or used in the library include books, music recordings, videos and DVDs, audiobooks; computer software, magazines, and newspapers. The library also has computers and WiFi for public access. There are also library sponsored programs for all ages offered.

Home delivered meals.

- For residents of Wymore, calls for home delivered meals must be made to the Beatrice Senior Center, at (402) 223-3055 or the main office at (402) 223-1376.

- For residents of Palmyra, calls for home delivered meals must be made to the Syracuse Senior Center, at (402) 269-2957.

- For residents of Nebraska City, home delivered meals must be arranged through the city's Meals on Wheels program.

Provides a variety of job training programs and services, including individual, business services, youth services and dislocated worker programs/rapid response.   

Offers to assist a relative caregiver who wants to obtain guardianship through probate court of a relative's child living in the home of the caregiver. This includes

- Educating and helping the caregiver negotiate the probate court system.

• Assisting caregivers to obtain required documents.
• Arranging for legal counsel in counties where legal counsel is necessary.

  EFSP caseworkers meet with the relative caregiver monthly until guardianship has been obtained or until other services have been provided. These services can include crisis intervention, applying for benefits, working with local schools for the child's enrollment, and referral to a range of needed services that the caregiver may have to help meet the basic needs of the family.

Coordinated network of services and supports that address the needs of a child's behavioral health care. Includes:

- Coordinates next steps when a child has a potential behavioral health issue or if a screening has indicated a potential concern

- Support from other parents who have experienced the process of planning behavioral health care

- Informational sessions to learn more about children's behavioral health and relevant child and family wellness topics

Operates an emergency food pantry for unforeseeable emergencies and for those who meet with ATLAS regularly through financial mentoring.

- Client must set up an appointment to discuss needs and circumstances and complete intake form. If approved, a food box will be provided based on the information given.

- It is advised that all appointments for the Emergency Pantry be planned in advance, as "walk-in" availability is dependent on staff schedules.

- Need will be subject to verification.

Counseling services covering a range of topics, including:

- Depression and anxiety.

- Grief and relationship concerns.

- Alcohol and drug use, including opioids and heroin.

- ADHD assessment and treatment.

- Bipolar Disorder.

- Difficult life transitions.

- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

- Health issues related to diet, exercise, tobacco use, etc.

Counseling services also available at certain local schools.

Facilities and membership includes: two-court gymnasium, indoor lap fitness swimming pool, indoor family fun pool, over 40 pieces of cardio equipment, free weights and weight equipment, aerobic/fitness studio classes, and child watch. Personal training is available, as well as youth sports leagues and swim lessons all year round. Y-Club is available during the school year for after school care.
