Offers Thanksgiving food boxes, available on a first come first served basis. 

Provides hospice care with medical treatment that provides pain and symptom relief for those who are terminally ill, as well as emotional and spiritual support for the entire family.

Offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for alcohol or drug dependency treatment. IOP can also assist clients with co-occurring disorders, such as depression, eating disorders, anxiety, and PTSD, in addition to substance use. Clients participate in individual and group therapy sessions. Types of addictions treated in IOP include alcohol, opioid, and methamphetamine addiction.

Assists clients in recovery from drug or alcohol dependency and maintain sobriety through a program which combines behavioral therapy and medication. Medications can be used to treat withdrawal symptoms and decrease cravings. Therapy is utilized to address co-occurring mental and/or physical health issues and learn coping skills.

Medications utilized in MAT differ depending on the situations of each patient and the dependency being treated. Some medications used in MAT may include

A short-term, in-home, community-based, intervention program (6-9 months) that works with families who have been identified by DCFS as at risk for foster care placement.

Designed to help families identify strengths, set goals and modify behaviors that put their children at risk, with the goal of safely maintaining the children in the home.

SNAP (food stamps) application assistance.

Due to limited application staff, clients must call for assistance.

Provides free food for individuals and families in need. Emergency food is also available.

Volunteer Proxy Service is also available if client is unable to come to the food pantry.

Bring bags or boxes to transport the food you select to your car.

Free and confidential services for pregnant women.

Pregnancy tests by appointment or walk in basis as available.

Opportunities for Latino families to learn basic English to access resources and improve their engagement in the community.

Meetings and forums are held to address topics such as cultural integration, health safety and prevention, orientation to resources, peer pressure education both for youth and adults.

Resources that help students and parents research colleges, explore career options, find scholarship resources, and complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Provides families with one-on-one assistance.

- Students and parents also learn about college planning and financial aid through webinars, college fairs, and financial aid programs (events calendar available online).

Provides an emergency youth shelter for individuals ages 17 and under who are in need of temporary residential care due to family emergencies, risk of abuse or neglect, or other crises. The shelter ensures the provision of basic needs, counseling services, educational support, medical care, and resources to aid in recovery from trauma.

Also offered are therapeutic services to address behavioral, emotional, or substance use challenges. Additionally, the program fosters skills development and social interaction among peers, creating a supportive environment for healing and growth.

Offers parenting support and education for women and men along with material assistance in the form of diapers, wipes, baby supplies, and more.

Provides many non-emergency services such minor lacerations, fractures, minor burns, strains/sprains, foreign bodies in the eye, and much more. Evaluation and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses, DOT and OSHA Services, Substance abuse testing/drug screening, and wellness screenings (immunizations, flu shots, Hep B, Tetanus, TB, cholesterol, blood sugar).

Pre-Release education / re-entry preparation for men, women, and youth incarcerated and provides services for reentry and community re-establishment. Community support for families affected by incarceration through prevention and intervention program initiatives.

Volunteers are recruited and trained initially as pen pals, then developed into mentors upon the participant's release from prison. Volunteers are also trained to be mentors for at risk youth in the Juvenile Justice system, public schools, residential treatment centers, and aging out of foster care.

R.A.W. D.A.W.G.S. youth corps gang prevention program provides a positive alternative to gang membership for boys ages 5-13 through military type drills, developing positive social and academic skills and personal validation and self development. These positive personal attributes are demonstrated by positive male role models who lead the program. Call for information.

Provides a location for individuals to get assistance with employment services. Services include the use of computers to work on resumes, fill out job applications, and search for employment. Can also assist with mock interviews, resume and portfolio paper, and printing. 

Promotes a healthy pregnancy and a child’s health, growth, and development.

Services include:

- Referrals to prenatal care schedule and scheduling OB appointment

• In office and in home visits by a nurse case manager
• Education related to topics, including nutrition, pregnancy, infant/child growth and development, and preventive medical services
• Referrals to medical care and immunizations
• Clinical visits include weight and BP checks as well as screenings for depression and development
• Referral to area agencies for any needed services in the family unit (food, clothing, shelter, daycare, transportation, etc.)
