Offers the following Community Services: Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) provides services for adults with intellectual or mental disabilities, a qualifying brain injury or handicapping condition. Individualized support is provided in the client's home or other community-based settings and is available 24 hours.  Home-Based Habilitation Services (HBHS) are designed to assist individuals with serious and persistent mental illness with the acquisition, retention or improvement in skills related to living in the community. Services assist in the daily living needs of the client and can be provided 24 hours a day. Community Support Services (CSS) provide integrated services and supports to persons with a serious mental illness. Interdisciplinary teams provide assessments and service planning, monitoring of mental health symptoms, medication management, problem-solving assistance, coordination of appointments and transportation and support. 

Provides a homeless shelter to those who are homeless or in imminent danger of becoming homeless. Staff members work with clients experiencing homelessness to identify barriers to housing and develop a plan-of-action to get past those barriers. This includes assisting with obtaining IDs, employment training, and utilizing collaborations with several other agencies on site.

This location is one of the coordinated entry points for anyone who is homeless in the area. 

Provides a thrift store with clothes, jewelry, household goods, toys, and furniture.

Provides blood pressure screenings and lead poisoning screenings to residents of Greene County. 

Provides transportation services to multiple counties.

Riders are encouraged to schedule trips at least one working day in advance (same-day service is available if space permits), and riders must be ready for pick-up 15 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time. Cancellations must be made at least two hours prior to pick-up time.

All vehicles are wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant.

Addresses local community planning and economic development through initiatives such as community engagement, leadership development, economic development, improving regional food systems and creating welcoming recreational and functional spaces.

The Adult Services Department provides a wide range of services, materials, and programs to fill the informational and recreational needs of adults and young adults.

The library maintains computer access, books, paperbacks, periodicals, newspapers, indexes, electronic databases, music, audio books, videocassettes, DVDs, and more. There are special collections in the areas of memory care, law, business, career development, automotive repair, local history, Spanish language, computer help, etc. Programs and tours are available for individuals, classes, and groups. The Children's Room hosts numerous programs, ranging from movies to zoo animal visits, throughout the year.

Non-residential level-4 outpatient substance abuse program which provides substance abuse counseling and relapse prevention program. Services are offered to individuals abusing substances or individuals who have been affected by someone else's use or abuse of alcohol or other drugs. The availability and accessibility of community-based services allows individuals to remain in their own environment while receiving services that meet their needs in the least restrictive environment.

Offers instruction in brass, keyboard, guitar, percussion, vocal, and dance, as part of an after-school program for school-age children during the week.

- Operates as an extended child care service for children while their parents/guardians are occupied.

- Functions as a neighborhood multipurpose center, offering a variety of structured activities and services.

Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing primary healthcare services. Programs include primary medical care, dental services, pediatric care, and behavioral health.

Unemployment Insurance benefits assist individuals who are unemployed through no fault of their own. Benefits are paid from the Nebraska State Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund. The fund is supported solely by a special tax on employers. Unemployment claims are filed online at NEworks.nebraska.gov.

Provides case management and social work services for older adults ages 60 and older. Services include community services or resources to help meet their care needs. Care managers arrange for a home visit to meet the client in their home environment. Care planning begins with a comprehensive assessment of each individual's needs, abilities, circumstances and support.

Provides holiday meals when funding is available.  First come first served.

Easter Provides a ham if funding is available. Distribution day varies, call to confirm.

Thanksgiving provides turkeys or ham for Thanksgiving as part of regular food distribution the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

Christmas Provides ham as part of regular food distribution the Saturday before Christmas.

Provides a program that reimburses participating child development homes for serving healthy meals and snacks to children in care setting. 

Offers a matching fund program to help with utility bills for Ameren customers only.

Provides property assessment, property value information, Homestead, Veteran and Family Farm Credit sign up.

Provides information on Parkinson's disease, including its causes, symptoms, treatment options, and therapeutic activities to do at home. Also offers resources and insights to foster understanding and awareness about living with Parkinson's disease, promoting positive communication and interaction with individuals affected by the condition. 

Provides door-to-door or door-through-door transportation to eligible seniors for social and recreational, medical, and life-enriching purposes by a trained and vetted volunteer drivers at no cost to the senior or their families.

Other drop-off and stay-at-the-destination services are available.

Clients must be enrolled in program prior to scheduling transportation.  Rides must be scheduled at least 3 days in advanced. Rider must schedule their own rides and be 100% ambulatory. Mobility aids such as walkers and canes are accepted but not wheelchairs or transport chairs.

Provides grants to area programs and agencies that focus on building economic mobility, fostering childhood success, improving access to healthcare and supporting safety net services.
