Provides information and assistance to caregivers of friends and family age 60+ through one-on-one meeting or by providing information over the phone and by email or through public information sessions. Also assesses problems and capabilities and provides counseling support and a link to appropriate services that may include respite care.

Offers a mediation program in which a neutral third party helps landlords and tenants communicate to resolve issues through voluntary, mutual agreement.

Program mediators help landlords and tenants work to resolve filed eviction cases through facilitated negotiation, with the aim of avoiding the need for future court intervention and keeping families in their home by guiding parties toward compromise.

Treatment for young children with behavioral problems, conducted through coaching sessions during which the parental figure and their child are in a playroom while the therapist is in an observation room watching them through a one-way mirror and/or live video feed. The parental figure wears a "bug-in-the-ear" device through which the therapist provides coaching skills that will help better manage the child's behavior.

Offers classes to women wishing to learn to read, write, and speak English.

Students are individually tested and receive materials targeted to their goals and learning level. Students come for tutoring for 1 ½ hours a week, and may also participate in twice-weekly conversation classes.

All classes and tutoring are in English.

Women may also check out bilingual books to read to their children. Some training materials (documents and videos) are available on website.

Provides low-income parents with informational services pertaining to raising healthy and productive children. Programs works to strengthening the care-giving family environment. Works to improve parent knowledge, attitudes, and perceptions by:

Offers a goal oriented service in which a provider works one-on-one with an individual with disabilities to teach and assist with life skills. Services can be provided in the individual's home or in a community setting.

Provides support to affiliates and partners, coordinates statewide advocacy and awareness, provides education, and works to advance mental health equality and access. 

General Counseling for anxiety, depression mood disorders, PTSD and other trauma.  

Provide outpatient therapy, outpatient psychiatry, psychiatric evaluations, and group therapy to children and adults for individual, group, marital, and play therapy. Services include substance abuse counseling, support groups, and medication-based treatment for substance use disorders, which combines approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapies to help individuals reduce or eliminate dependency on opioids or alcohol.

Offers, as resources allow, to help refugees and asylees reach economic self-sufficiency and to them with any problems, interests and concerns they may have. The Bureau of Refugee Services works to serve as a central clearinghouse in order to refer refugees and asylees to any resource necessary and available to them. The Bureau is the service agency for all refugees enrolled in FIP, the state welfare reform program. Now offering a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) program. This program will help participants prepare for the class, enroll into the DMACC CDL program at no cost, and obtain a job after completion. Participants will also qualify for “Jump Start” training specially designed to help English Language Learners.

Provides community day services to individuals, 18 and older, who have a developmental disability which includes a diagnosis of intellectual disability, autism, cerebral palsy, and/or epilepsy. Program services include an array of daily, structured activities to promote and develop such skills as motor and sensory development, toileting, eating, grooming, expressive and receptive language development, survival skills training, money management, independent living skills, and social/recreational activities.
