Services include case management, shelter referral and placement, protection order applications, legal/court advocacy, and initial financial assistance during an emergency (based on availability of funding - might include legal fees, rent/utility assistance, diapers, lock changes, food, etc.).
Housing assistance includes emergency and long term options in a addition to assistance with food, clothing, education, employment, counseling, medical and dental care-with or without insurance, legal assistance to citizens and immigrants.

DRI equips local community members with the tools needed to resolve their specific problems and helps coordinate mediators with cases. Works with landlords and tenants, families, members of faith communities, small claims, and businesses. Participation in mediation is voluntary. DRI does NOT offer any legal advice.
