Offers family counseling at the Foundation 2 Youth Shelter. The focus is on preventing runaway behavior, suicide attempts, child abuse, family breakup, school failure, or the placement of a runaway or homeless youth.

Offers to work with surrounding communities and businesses to develop procedures and preparations in the case of an emergency or disaster. Services include testing of sirens on the first Tuesday of every month, working with the Braidwood Nuclear Power Plant to ensure safety in case of a nuclear disaster, coordinating with the National Weather Service to notify the public in case of a severe weather alert, and working with companies in the local area that deal with hazardous materials.

Air conditioners provided, when available, to the most vulnerable individuals (especially seniors 60 and older) who are experiencing health problems that make air conditioning a medical necessity, or those of any age with medical necessity.

Provides medical and cash assistance for customers who are 65 years of age or older, blind, or disabled. Also includes the QMB (Qualified Medicare Beneficiary) program which provides payment of Medicare premiums and some Medicare co-payments.

The online application is called "Application for Benefits Eligibility (ABE)."  When applying, the state will determine the applicant's eligibility for this AABD, as well as SNAP and medical assistance (Medicaid).

Provides relief to county residents to help in removing barriers to self-sufficiency and encourage self-support. Mental health services include mental health assessments, depression/anxiety/mental illness counseling, family therapy, stress/anger management counseling, trauma/abuse counseling, parenting and relationship counseling.

Substance abuse services include substance abuse evaluations, adolescent substance abuse groups, adult intensive outpatient (IOP), adult relapse prevention, drug court provider, family court provider, voucher provider and priority population: women who are pregnant and IV users.

Provides after school activities for youth. This program only runs when school is in session. 

Delivers a Thanksgiving meal to older adults ages 60 and older.

Individuals must order meals by November 19, 2025.
