Community clinic providing a variety of family practice services.

The following support groups run concurrently on first and third Thursdays at the Grace United Methodist Church, located at 112 North Walnut Street, Glenwood, IA 51534:

- DAD (Dads Against Drugs) Support Group.

- NOT ALONE Children's Educational Support Group.

- Recovery Coaching.

Provides substance abuse services to the Latino community. Services include:

- DUI evaluations and risk education.

- Outpatient treatment for substance abuse.

- Treatment for family / Codependent.

- Individual or group counseling.

- Adolescent treatment.

Provides early childhood education services for children. Services include learning a variety of subjects including math, science, literature, music, and art. Services may also include a summer camp.

Offers a program for parents and youth individuals ages 10-14 to work together and build relationships. Participants will practice skills, play learning games, and do family projects in highly interactive sessions. Sessions are designed to increase family bonding, build positive communication skills, and solve problems together. 

Provides information, assistance, and referrals to caregivers of older adults to help with necessary services and supports. Staff can also help the caregiver determine if the person they are caring for is receiving benefits they may be eligible for that could reduce the caregiver's costs.

Provides multiple park sites and recreational locations with various recreation and education programs on a year round basis for all ages.

Offers a loan closet that includes walkers, wheelchairs, crutches, chairs, canes, commodes, and bed pans as available. Also offers eyeglass recycling.

Responsible for treating the City of Nevada's wastewater and maintaining the infrastructure related to sanitary sewage. Tasks include cleaning and repairing sewer mains, inspections of the sewer system, manhole and pump maintenance, and other duties.

Provides holiday meals.

Easter Provides a ham. Distribution day varies, call to confirm.

Thanksgiving provides turkeys or ham for Thanksgiving as part of regular food distribution the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

Christmas Provides ham as part of regular food distribution the Saturday before Christmas.

Offers resources, and support to those affected by Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. 

Services include:

- Information on Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.

• New diagnosis assistance.
• IBD Medication guide.
• Resources for youth and young adults. - Community outreach/awareness.

Maintains records and issues certificates of vital records (birth certificates, civil union certificates, marriage certificates, and death certificates). Provides administrative support by managing court-related records, files, and exhibits. Also issues recreation licenses, liquor licenses, and video gaming licenses for unincorporated areas of Ogle County. Facilitates the legal registration of votes and maintains voting records.

Works with primary care providers who identify social/emotional or developmental concerns, family stressors, or caregiver depression during well child medical exams. If a condition is identified, the family is referred to a support specialist who provides care coordination. Specialists may provide referrals for developmental screening, mental health or behavioral health services, or other needs, and will monitor the family's progress.

Offers workshops that teach individuals and families how to get more out of money and how to save money for financial goals. This is a series of workshops that are a blend of instruction and hands on activities so each concept can be mastered.
