Offers inpatient hospitalization to stabilize the Childs current crisis. The hospital stay is not intended to provide long-term therapy and generally lasts approximately 10–14 days. During the child’s stay, a plan will be developed for outpatient support. This will enable the child to continue the healing process after discharge. It is important that the parent or guardian participate in the treatment on a regular basis.
