High school students must show school-issued IDs when boarding. Students without school-issued ID, may receive a free Metro K-12 card by bringing proof of high school enrollment to the Metro office Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4 pm.

Elementary and middle school students can inform the bus operators that they are students.

Offers a day center that serves adults with physical or psychological challenges. Available services include skilled nursing, meals, and specialized programming to meet individual needs and to assist with personal cares, while providing caregivers a break from their caregiving duties.

Offers to help people going through a residential eviction. The goal is to help families find a way to stay in the rental unit, or exit with dignity and to help reduce the number of court cases that would otherwise go through a lengthy eviction process. If you receive a summons to go to court for an eviction and would like to try to resolve your case through mediation, please contact our office. Unless ordered by a judge, mediation is voluntary for both sides.

Offers services to help job seekers find and keep employment, services include: career coaching, job search assistance, education assistance, and referrals to community resources.

Offers to help children in grades 4-12 develop knowledge and skills. Services include learning about citizenship, leadership, cooking, arts and crafts, mechanics and technology, horticulture, agriculture, and other subjects. To teach young people about these subjects, the 4-H program uses the learn-by-doing method of instruction.

Exercise classes are offered weekly to help improve strength, balance and overall health.

Provides direct services to victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, dating violence, sexual harassment, and human trafficking in the Asian Pacific Islander communities in Iowa. Services include domestic violence and sexual assault hotlines, adult and youth domestic violence and sexual assault prevention and intervention programs, spouse and intimate partner abuse prevention, and child sexual assault prevention programs that educate children about personal safety, recognizing inappropriate behavior, and reporting abuse.
