Provide minor vehicle repairs to individuals to keep their current vehicle safe so they can maintain their employment. Must already have at least 30 days of employment with paystubs. Must be owner of vehicle with up-to-date insurance coverage.

Provides dental care services for children in need. Services include dental screening examinations, dental cleanings, and applications of fluoride varnish, oral health education, in-school dental services, preventative services, a mobile dental clinic that provides comprehensive examinations, fillings, extractions, and x-rays. 

Provides a summer camp for youth individuals. Site locations are selected based on community need, partnerships, and safe spaces. Activities will include arts and crafts, sports, field trips, STEM programs, nature-based programs, swim lessons, and more. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

Offers assistance to clients to find other local community resources as needed.

Offers a variety of programs for children in need of preschool, before and after school care, and a summer day camp. Services provide academic intervention, healthy activities, and enrichment opportunities throughout the school year.

Advises and aids veterans and their dependents in applying for federal benefits through compensation or pension claims. Emergency financial assistance for basic necessities such as rent, mortgage interests payments, utilities, burial expense and food may be available. Can also assists with applications for benefits made available by federal, state or local laws.

Addresses local community planning and economic development through initiatives such as community engagement, leadership development, economic development, improving regional food systems and creating welcoming recreational and functional spaces.

Grandparents are invited to shop every year for their grandchildren during the holiday season. Grandchildren must be 10 years old or younger.

Protection of individuals with disabilities when their civil and human rights are denied, especially those who are most vulnerable or who learn, live, or work in isolated, segregated, or congregated settings.

- Legal advocacy, investigation, and representation to eligible persons whose disability related cases meet priorities set by our Board of Directors.

- Information and referral.

- Engaging people with disabilities in advocacy through education, information and training that builds self-advocacy skills, awareness, and understanding.

- Policy advocacy, including analysis, monitoring, and recommend changes to state and federal legislation.

Aquatic programs are offered at nearly all area pools that offer instructional programs; the Red Cross serves as a coordinator and can provide information about which programs are available at each pool; programs include: Learn to Swim, Infant and Preschool Aquatic Programs, Lifeguard Training, and Water Safety Instructor.

Provides information, advocacy, referrals, and support related to adoption and foster care services. Services include expectant parent advocacy and support for individuals who are pregnant, domestic adoption services, post-adoption services, counseling referrals for children who have experienced trauma, and assistance with foster home placement. Services may include connecting individuals and children in need of alternative living arrangements with licensed private family foster homes, recruiting, training, certifying, and monitoring foster care placements, and providing information, referrals, and support to individuals and families involved in foster care.

Provides behavioral health care services. Services include intake screenings (available in person or online), psychiatric services, school counseling services, bullying and domestic violence prevention, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

Nutrition education to adults and youth of limited resources about healthy eating and food resources to improve food resource management skills. The program offers lessons in the areas of diet quality, food safety, and food resource management individually or in small groups.

A group that helps consumers with the tools and expectations necessary for them to guide their life now and in the future. Peer support is not designed to replace professional counseling, but it can serve as an additional support in improving the lives of people with disabilities. Support can come from one-on-one peer support with RAMP staff, board members, consumers, and community support groups.

Provides blood products to hospitals across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.  Coordinates blood donation from community members.

Offers the following Community Services: 

Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) provides services for adults with intellectual or mental disabilities, a qualifying brain injury or handicapping condition. Individualized support is provided in the client's home or other community-based settings and is available 24 hours.

Home-Based Habilitation Services (HBHS) are designed to assist individuals with serious and persistent mental illness with the acquisition, retention or improvement in skills related to living in the community. Services assist in the daily living needs of the client and can be provided 24 hours a day.

Community Support Services (CSS) provide integrated services and supports to persons with a serious mental illness. Interdisciplinary teams provide assessments and service planning, monitoring of mental health symptoms, medication management, problem-solving assistance, coordination of appointments and transportation and support.

Energy assistance for eligible low income families.

Funding source for local health and human service agencies improving lives in education, income, and health as well as basic needs. Provides financial oversight and collaboration between agencies.
