LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) provides supplemental help for the winter heating bills November 1st through April 15th: LIHEAP Crisis Assistance when funding available provides in a life threatening situation fuel, heaters, furnace repair; furnace replacement for homeowners when funds available. Applications are accepted October 1-April 30 for elderly or disabled households and November 1-April 30 for all other households.  May have some crisis funding available outside the normal LIHEAP months, call local County Outreach Office for availability of funding.
