Offers to serve at the intersection of education and mental health to help youth individuals understand their emotions, reactions, and relationships through social-emotional learning to improve academic, career, and social success. AmeriCorps members are stationed within local organizations, including the Dubuque Community School District, Carnegie-Stout Public Library, Multicultural Family Center, Parks and Recreation Department, Bluff Strokes Art Center, and Centrally Rooted, ensuring a comprehensive and multi-faceted approach to supporting youth development.

Provide a variety of money management services to low-income seniors who have difficulty managing their finances. Services include assisting with opening/organizing mail, budgeting, checkbook balancing, bill paying, and/or managing monthly Social Security benefits (as a bill payer or representative payee).

Provides basic financial assistance for qualifying residents.

Provides HIV, Hepatitis C, Gonorrhea, and Chlamydia counseling and mobile testing services during evening and late-night hours in locations where high-risk behavior (drug activity, sexual activity, etc.) is known to occur. The program also aims to reduce harm by offering sterile injection supplies and equipment to prevent the transmission of blood-borne infectious diseases and other health complications. Supplies may include sterile needles, syringes, alcohol swabs, and sharps disposal containers, among others, and are available to support safe injection practices, including hormone injection for trans, gender-diverse, and two-spirited individuals. 

Individual, couple, and family therapy in Spanish, from a family systems perspective.  Help is offered to families for a wide range of issues, presented in their native language.

Provides help to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to focus on building personal skills through active treatment. The program assists clients to achieve their personal goals and desires through education, pre-vocational training, assistance with personal care, and community integration.

Provides abuse and crisis intervention services to those going through a domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or sex trafficking situation. Services include a family violence crisis line, counseling or counseling referrals for survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault, emergency shelter and transportation, peer support groups, and child advocacy.

Protection order assistance, criminal justice/legal advocacy, and medical advocacy are also available to those who may need it.

Support group for victims of domestic violence. Open to anyone who is experiencing or has experienced abuse in an intimate relationship, including individuals who are still involved in the abusive relationship. Transportation available.
