Offers a six-month immersive experience in computer science and critical thinking, led by industry professionals from partners like John Deere and Principal Financial. Students build a strong foundation in Python through hands-on coding and classroom instruction, collaborate with peers, and explore a wide range of careers in technology. Upon completion, students may earn 3 college credits.

The program aims to address the needs of eligible Veterans and their families to reduce suicide risk and improve mental health status and well-being by providing wrap-around, nonclinical suicide prevention support services to eligible households.

SASS provides the following services for children and youth:

Crisis intervention

Short-term stabilization where a child is at risk of self-harm, or harming others

Individual and family psychotherapy/counseling

Mental health assessment

Case management and resource linkage assistance

Psychiatric services

Service supplying clothing, housewares, and kitchen appliances.

Works to help individuals, including those facing significant employment barriers, secure and retain high-quality jobs. The program assists people in finding employment, funds training when needed to gain or retain a position, and provides assistance in obtaining work permits or official documentation required for work authorization.

The Adult Program serves people who are at least 18 years old and, if applicable, registered for Selective Service. The Dislocated Worker Program serves individuals registered for Selective Service who have lost their jobs and meet dislocated worker categories defined in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

The Youth Program serves in-school youth (ages 14-21) and out-of-school youth (ages 16-24) who need assistance with training or education to enter the workforce successfully, with a focus on young people facing barriers to success. This includes government-subsidized summer employment programs that provide job opportunities in the public and private sectors during the summer months. Registration for these summer opportunities occurs during a spring application period.

Provides skill-building and behavior support for children and adolescents who experience emotional, social, or behavioral challenges. BHIS is a home- and community-based service designed to help youth develop the tools they need to succeed at home, in school, and in daily life.

BHIS focuses on teaching practical skills such as:

- Emotional regulation.

- Problem-solving and decision-making.

- Social and communication skills.

- Conflict resolution.

- Coping strategies for stress, anger, and frustration.

- Positive behavior reinforcement.

- Healthy routines and daily living skills.

Services are delivered by trained BHIS providers who work closely with the child, family, and therapist to reinforce therapeutic goals and support long-term progress. Sessions may take place in the home, school, or community, depending on the needs of the child and family. BHIS is designed for youth who benefit from structured, skills-based support outside of traditional therapy.

Offers Certified Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) counselors who are available by appointment to assist with Medicare D, BEAM (State of Illinois license discount application), Low Income Subsidy application, Medicare Savings Plan application, and various other applications.

Provides in-home case management as well as 24-hour response to emergencies. Services include a case manager who will monitor individuals weekly to ensure they are linked with the necessary resources and referrals for both inpatient and outpatient drug treatment programs. Services may also include weekly in-home and out-of-home counseling for adults, children, couples, and families. Families may also be referred to a number of community-based services, including medical services, counseling, drug or alcohol treatment support groups, food pantries, housing, employment training, and continuing education programs. 

Offers Child Care Expense Assistance through the Iowa Department of Human services is available to the children of income-eligible parents who are absent for a portion of the day due to employment or participation in academic or vocational training or PROMISE JOBS activities. Offers assistance to individuals in crisis beyond their control such as car repairs for working persons and other emergency needs.

When funds are available, one-time financial assistance is available for emergency situations for medications, housing, food, utilities, etc.

Offers a variety of parks, trails, and programs for all ages, as described in periodical activity guides that are available online or from any FVPD facilities.

Programs and services include:

- 4 fitness centers (Eola, Prisco, Vaughan, and Copley).

- Preschool programs.

- Orchard Valley Golf Course and Restaurant.

- Blackberry Farm History Museum.

- Red Oak Nature Center.

Provides Medicaid and Medicare-certified low cost clinics offering "one stop shop" for general health care needs.

Provides a variety of classes and support groups including Diabetes education, Maternity/Maternity classes and support, and hospice support groups.

Hosts exclusive events throughout the year to allow individuals with autism and their families to enjoy local area attractions in a welcoming, sensory-friendly environment (at no or low cost to the families).

Frequent local partners include: Omaha Symphony, Kiewit Luminarium, Omaha Community Playhouse, Opera Omaha, Omaha Children’s Museum, Why Arts, Haven 150, Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, Werner Park, and American Midwest Ballet.

Offers workshops that teach individuals and families how to get more out of money and how to save money for financial goals. This is a series of workshops that are a blend of instruction and hands on activities so each concept can be mastered.
