General financial and rent assistance for Morris Township residents only.

Provides a rent subsidy program. This program is similar to the HUD voucher program, that targets extremely low-income renters and helps them pay their monthly rent.

Offers home health aide services. Allowing clients to continue living at home, including assisted living facilities while receiving medical care. Services include personal care such as showering and bathing, nail care, shaving, oral and denture care, toileting, catheter, and ostomy assistance, exercise “buddy” for range of motion, endurance and wellness, encouraging mobility, including walking with an assistive device, nutrition assistance, including meal preparation and feeding, medication reminders and light housekeeping and chores.

Provides individual and group crisis management services to adult and child survivors of domestic violence who are not staying in the shelter. Also provides community referrals and advocacy for clients not staying in the shelter. All services are confidential.

Offers affordable housing programs. Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher opportunities available. 

Provides law enforcement services for the Lucas County communities, including emergency response through a telephone service staffed by trained personnel who assess requests for assistance and dispatch the appropriate emergency response agency. Additionally, supplies information on weapon permits and offers a list of certified weapon instructors.

Domestic Violence prevention program for male and female offenders. Designed to help individuals who have been abusive in their relationships to become aware of:

-- How their behavior influences people with whom they interact regularly.

-- How their past affects their current behaviors.

-- How to develop healthy, safe, and equal relationships.

-- How to be assertive in relationships rather than aggressive.

-- How to stop the cycle of violence.

Program requirements are tailored to the individual needs of group members.

Group leaders encourage participants to think about their relationships differently by:

-- Promoting attitudes associated with healthy relationships, such as safe and equal partnerships and equal rights of both partners.

-- Challenging attitudes associated with abusive behaviors by encouraging full responsibility for the behaviors and the ability to stop.

Maintains and provides access to official real estate documents, contracts, articles of incorporation, partnerships, state and federal tax liens, military records, birth, divorce, death, and marriage records. Offers services for issuing and renewing licenses for ATVs, boats, snowmobiles, and fishing, as well as marriage licenses and certificates. Operates as a Passport acceptance facility with photo services and processes military records for tax exemptions and benefits.

Additionally, issues public health permits to certify compliance with health laws for various facilities and institutions. Services include the establishment of standards, review of applications, issuance of permits, and enforcement of compliance through inspections and monitoring.

Thrift store that sells donated goods at reasonable prices.  Items can be donated at store or a pick-up can be scheduled.

Works to fill the “gaps” to help individuals and families overcome barriers to exiting homelessness. Services include completing the coordinated assessment, obtaining identification, employment, education, health, and other related expenses for resources that are otherwise unavailable in the community

Limited services may be available to help imminently homeless individuals obtain or retain a rental unit.

Offers a food pantry.

Preschool with full- and part-time (2 or 3 days a week) schedules available.
