RSVP volunteers serve in a diverse range of nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and faith-based groups. Volunteers perform a variety of valuable services such as mentor at-risk youth, organize neighborhood watch programs, teach English to immigrants, and lend their business skills to community groups to provide critical social services.

Other volunteer opportunities are available at Senior Services Associates, including Elgin & South Elgin Neighbor to Neighbor Program, Long-Term Care Volunteer Ombudsman Program, Senior Companion Program, Senior Home Repair Assistance Program, Senior Medicare Patrol Projects, and the Transportation Program.

Provides emergency financial assistance for life threatening situations (rent, utilities, etc.). Not available for deposits, first month's rent, or old debts.

Staff is available 24/7 with confidential services for adults and children who are living in a domestic violence situation, specialists can assist with safety planning, setting up counseling, providing information and referral services, and finding emergency shelter.

Offers a variety of programs. Services include community literacy, free English classes, and GED prep. 

Offers on-demand response, door to door public transportation service provides rides to persons of all ages.

Provides job-seeking and placement assistance for clients.

Provides counseling programs to youth and adults who are involved in the child welfare system, who have been sexually and/or physically abused, or who are survivors of domestic violence. Counseling services also provide to the non-offending parents.
