Assisted residential services provides structured supervision, evaluation, and training, independent living and social/recreational skills as prescribed by an Individual Program Plan (IPP).  Homes are located in residential neighborhoods where clients are active members of neighborhoods and communities.  Staff is available to provide 24-hour supervision and training if needed. Provides quality, affordable and accessible housing to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  People who apply to live in Mosaic housing do not have to receive other services from Mosaic and may receive services from other providers.  All residents must qualify according to established income guidelines.  Income must be below the low or very low-income guidelines for the county of residence.

Offers the Adventure Pass, a program designed to help individuals and families check out area attractions for free. The pass can be checked out with a library card and allows free admittance to the Blank Park Zoo, Science Center of Iowa and the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden. The Adventure Pass must be printed when presented upon admission into the attractions along with a photo ID. Each pass allows admission for up to 4 people, including up to 2 adults and 2 children for both the Zoo and Botanical Garden. The Science Center of Iowa allows admission for up to 2 adults and 3 children, but a maximum of 4 people total may be admitted.

Supplies food to individuals and families up to 3 times in a 6 month interval, or 6 times a year. Enough food is provided to subsidize meals for 10 days according to the family size.

Canned and non-perishable foods are given from supplies on hand, and vouchers may be given: $40.00 for one person and up to $52.00 for 5 and above people.

Currently, customers are asked to drive up to the window to be served. Volunteers can assist with loading items into the vehicle, if needed.

Hearing Voices/Special Messages is a support group for individuals with this unique experience. It is lead by peers who have lived experience with this.
