Weatherization program is a federal grant program established to help reduce the heating and cooling costs for low income persons, particularly the elderly, disabled, and children, by improving the energy efficiency of their homes.

**Weatherization is NOT a home remodeling or renovation program. It does not repair or replace roofs or siding, and cannot work on homes where there is a roof leak. Weatherization cannot install storm windows or doors, or skirting on mobile homes.
