HART (Housing Assistance) | Central Nebraska Community Action Partnership, Inc.
Case management, client needs assessment, goal setting/plan development, and assistance to stabilize housing for individuals and families. Services vary and may include assistance with rent, utilities, rental and/or utility deposits, depending upon verification of need and progress being made on goals. Eligibility and re-certification requirements may vary by program.
Limited funding is available and only offered during certain times of the year.

Emergency Food and Shelter Homeless Prevention Services | MCS Community Services
Provides low-income clients with rent and security deposit assistance to help a household maintain housing. To qualify for this program the client needs to be behind on their rent and the landlord has to have served them a legal eviction notice. The client will also be required to have some type of income (employment, social security, TANF, unemployment, etc.) to qualify for assistance. Babysitting (or some other type of working) for cash will NOT be accepted as income. A client can only be assisted every two years through this program.
Transitional Housing is designed to move homeless families from streets and shelters into temporary housing and to maximize self-sufficiency, this program is for families only and they must be homeless in order to receive assistance. Homeless means living on the street, in an emergency shelter, or a place not meant for human habitation (cars, parks, sidewalks, abandoned building, etc.) Occupancy is limited.
Supportive Housing is designed to move homeless families/individuals with documented disabilities from streets and shelters into temporary housing and to maximize self-sufficiency. Enrollment is limited based on availability.

Navigators have the ability to “fill gaps”, either through helping agencies partner around a common goal, or through flexible funding for needs such as rent, utilities, mental health support, parenting resources, educational workshops, food and nutrition programs, transportation, and more.
Community Response is designed to reduce unnecessary involvement of child welfare and juvenile justice while increasing the informal and community supports for youth and families. By utilizing Central Navigation, the goal is to coordinate existing resources and match participants with a resource to either solve an immediate need or develop a longer-term coaching relationship.
