Dress for Success Quad Cities provides free career and professional development programming and services to women throughout the greater QC. These services include professional development workshops (HireHER) and programming, career and professional development resources, one-on-one career coaching, professional attire, and a network of support. Our programming and services are available to women searching for employment, interested in transitioning into a new career or industry, looking to advance in their career, or wanting to stay current on job market trends and opportunities.
Family's Helping Hand is a non profit that operates out of the Family Resource Center to assist families and bridge gaps that will directly lead to better outcomes for families. Some of the resources Family’s Helping Hand can provide are a mini food pantry including formula/baby food, clothes closet, and household and hygiene supplies. Volunteer opportunities are available. This is a participating TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) food pantry. Enrollment into TEFAP is confidential and requires proof of address and identification. Individuals participating in the FoodShare, School Nutrition Program, WIC, or Senior Meals programs may participate in TEFAP without impacting their ability to qualify for those programs.

Offers one-on-one coaching, interview preparation, mock interviews, and career guidance from qualified professionals. Monthly Keys to Success Workshops are provided to give women the skills, confidence, networks, and motivation they need to succeed in an interview.

Clients work with volunteer styling consultants in a one-on-one appointment to choose a complete interview outfit in an inclusive, body-positive, and accessible environment. Stylists provide clients with either an internship and/or employment styling once they have secured employment.

Program offers real world guidance for interviewing, online resources, money management, and job retention, as well as outfitting clients for employment success.
