Salvation Army of Story County
Provides a food pantry accessible once every 30 days for non-perishable items, produce, dairy, frozen meats, and bread. Story County residents may utilize The Market once per week for perishable refrigerated items such as dairy products, meat, pre-made salads, and pre-packaged items as well as fresh produce and bakery items.
The Family Pantry is also available once every 30 days and offers hygiene items, diapers, pullups, wipes, infant formula, baby food, toilet paper, soaps, and cleaners. All items are subject to availability.

Helping Hand Food Pantry
Provides a food pantry to those in need. Must live within the Chadwick-Milledgeville School District to access the food pantry. Meat, fresh fruits, vegetables, paper products and hygiene products are limited to their availability.
**If school is canceled in the morning due to weather on a Tuesday Pantry Day, the pantry will be rescheduled for Thursday of the same week with the same hours. If there is an early dismissal due to weather, the evening pantry hours (6:00- 7:30 PM) will be rescheduled for Thursday evening.

Provides daily services for homeless, low-income, and recently incarcerated individuals, including meals, showers, and a safe environment. The center assists with obtaining state identification, birth certificates, and social security applications.
Employment information and guidance are available, along with bus tickets (subject to daily availability), clothing, and opportunities for community service. Cold breakfast, lunch, and water are provided daily.
During periods of extreme weather, the center serves as a warming or cooling center, offering a heated or air-conditioned environment to protect individuals from extreme cold or heat. Water and other liquids are available to prevent dehydration.
The center is not a shelter or food bank.
