General Clothing Provision
The Howard County Food Pantry provides food for people in need. Food baskets provide fresh, frozen, and non-perishable food items. In addition, non-food items such as diapers, formula, hygiene products, and cleaning products may be available. The supply given is based on need and size of the family. Donations and volunteers are welcome.

Provides food and hygiene products to middle and high school students in need. Distribution takes place on the last day of school each week and as indiviudal needs come up.
Offers the following food options to those in need of food:
-- A client choice food pantry where registered clients can shop for grocery staples once a month,
-- An anytime food room stocked with rescued food from our community partners where anyone can visit once a day during open hours,
-- An onsite community garden where registered clients can acquire a weekly share of freshly harvested produce during the growing season.

Offers a food pantry to those in need. Can also provide, as donations allow, personal items as well as food vouchers.
Individuals can receive personal care items such as hygiene items and cleaning supplies.

Emergency personal care pantry with several days' worth of home/hygiene items. The pantry is intended to provide home/hygiene goods to the individual until they can be on their feet. Hygiene goods are accessible to people experiencing homelessness or those living in situations.
Material assistance including hygiene items for adults, children, and infants; food; furniture; household items including bedding, towels, kitchen utensils, silverware, plates, pots and pans, diapers, formula, etc.

Vouchers for ID and Driver's License fees.

Individualized referrals and budgeting assistance.

Transportation assistance in special circumstances, including gas vouchers and bus vouchers, for medical, immigration or housing appointments.

Offers salon services at a discounted rate that are provided by students. Seniors get a 10% discount and Veterans/Military members can get 50% discount (with ID) discount Monday through Thursday.

Provides personal products, household items and three cleaning products once a month

Thrift store open to the public.

Vouchers are available to provide clothing, housewares, bed/bath items, and hygiene products at no cost to those struggling to avoid homelessness and those successfully gaining independence from having been homeless.

Donations accepted Tue and Thu 11 am-3 pm.

On site services include a food, toiletry, and cleaning item pantry, a clothing closet and access to computers, wi-fi and printers. Referrals can be made to other agencies if needs cannot immediately be met. The center also offers continuing education programs.

Carol's Closet can help veterans, seniors, and persons with disabilities with household items including furniture and bedding, hospital beds, walkers, wheelchairs (including motorized), shower chairs, commodes and adult hygiene items. In addition, Carol's Closet can help families with newborn baby clothes to size 6 children's clothes, diapers, new cribs and car seats, baby essentials, and household items including dishes, furniture and bedding. Carol's Closet also has a handicap accessible van and standing lift for loan with a donation. Carol's Closet accepts donations of good and has opportunities for people to volunteer.

Fayette County Thrift Store and Emergency Food Shelf offers a food program that provides a 3 to 5 day food supply of cereals, canned fruits, fruit juices, soups, vegetables, and garden produce when in season. Also offers personal items such as soap, toothpaste, other goods, and used clothing at no cost.
