During winter months, cold weather clothing such as coats, hats, scarves, socks, mittens, and gloves for adults and children are available, depending on donations.

Drop-in day center, with shower, laundry facilities, and hot coffee. Clothing vouchers may be available.

Emergency housing offers a safe haven for persons in need. The shelter provides a warm bed, three meals per day, shower and laundry facilities, personal hygiene items, clothing, and supportive services to link homeless individuals with case management. Guests may also ask for help with GED tutoring and employment services.

Also provides clients with access to computer stations, phone booths and chargers, job assistance and housing navigation.

Provides essential resources, educational tools, and peer support for individuals seeking long-term sobriety. Each recovery center also provides a place to do laundry and take a shower.

Laundry services must have a case manager, call in and schedule a slot (only 4 slots per day), and one load of laundry limit.

Provides personal hygiene or care items such as soap, shampoo, toothbrushes and diapers when available. Can be used once per month.

Offers personal hygiene items and laundry/dish soap as items are available.

Offers a DMARC food pantry and a personal pantry open to anyone in need. Individuals and families can receive an emergency food box once per calendar month as long as they have not received a food box from another DMARC food pantry during the same calendar month. The food pantry may be visited daily for food essentials, but will not receive a food box unless it has been 30 days since the last received.

PERSONAL PANTRY offers toiletries and other personal hygiene products to those in need when available at the same time as receiving the food box.

DIAPERS, WIPES AND INFANT FORMULA are available following the same guidelines as emergency food boxes.

On the last Saturday of the month, the SEMP store is open for individuals to choose three personal care products.
Decorah Community Food Pantry provides free food including canned products, meats, produce and dry goods; household items including cleaning supplies, paper products; and personal hygiene products may available. Donations of products and cash accepted. Individuals and families may visit once a week. People select their own items amount based on family size. This is a participating TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) food pantry. Enrollment into TEFAP is confidential and requires proof of address and identification. Individuals participating in the FoodShare, School Nutrition Program, WIC, or Senior Meals programs may participate in TEFAP without impacting their ability to qualify for those programs.

Offers a clothing closet for men needing professional attire for job interviews, position change for current employment, or events and activities. Clients will receive a designated number of items depending on size availability. Individuals may receive clothing twice a year (1 from Jan-June and 1 from July-Dec). Max items up to 3 suits/jackets, 5 shirts, 3 slacks, 5 ties, 1 belt, and 1 pair of shoes.
