SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT assists those who have barriers to employment in obtaining and maintaining employment in the community.

DAY SERVICES is for adults with a diagnosed disability to work on their independent living skills in a stimulating and community integrated environment. Participants have opportunities to plan activities, volunteer, learn to self-advocate and have fun with a group of their peers.

Offers out-of-school youth an opportunity to participate in training for certificate and degree programs, which will assist in obtaining marketable skills for employment in their desired field of study. Funding provides financial assistance with tuition, books and supplies for participants who meet eligibility requirements. Many programs at Kish qualify for WIOA assistance.

90-day workforce development program in which participants undergo full-time education and job training, dedicating half their time to personalized high school completion and the remainder to earning industry-recognized credentials, primarily in Construction, CDL, CNA, Culinary, and Welding.

Offers three occupational Skills Training programs: Warehouse/Packaging/Logistics Skills Training built on the MSSC Certified Logistics Associate certification with hands on experience in the production/warehouse facility, Essential Employment Skills Program works with veterans in our e-waste area, and a Retail Skills Training utilizing the Goodwill retail footprint, around the National Retail Federation's RiseUP certification.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) provides instruction to improve the day-to-day life of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. ABA instruction, typically offered in a one-on-one setting to meet the needs of each learner, is focused on teaching skills and decreasing behaviors that interfere with learning. Instruction focuses on an individual's learning or behavior needs, working on improving skills such as taking turns, waiting in line, interactive play with peers, joining play, and initiating and maintaining conversations.

Social Skills Camp is a 6 week summer camp designed for adolescents who are on the Autism spectrum. The camp provides educational and therapy services. Instruction and training will take place as a group and one-on-one.

Improves the quality of life of individuals by providing training, education and employment programs.

SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT services are designed to provide personalized assistance to individuals with disabilities. Encouragement in independence by helping job-seekers get the skills necessary to find and maintain employment in the community. Program is focused on finding and utilizing individual strengths. Through job coaching and hands-on training, participants learn to understand their abilities and determine which jobs will allow those abilities to shine and go for their full potential.

BENEFITS PLANNING enables beneficiaries with disabilities to make informed choices about going to work also supporting them as they continue progress toward self-sufficiency. Team members will work with beneficiaries to provide in-depth counseling about benefits and the effect of work on those benefits. Education about benefits is provides in order to help beneficiaries attain independence and confidence. Team members counsel beneficiaries on Work Incentive Summary, Benefits Summary and Analysis, PASS plan, Impairment Related Work Expenses (IRWE) and resolve benefits issues.

Offers 5 transfer degree programs for undergraduates seeking full-time study or 70 degree and certificate programs for those seeking career preparation.

Community Education includes Adult Basic Ed, GED prep, ESL classes, transition programs, professional development courses and non-credit certificate programs. Provides both occupational and professional opportunities to businesses, industries, individuals, and health and government agencies through the region.

Community Colleges

Provides assistance to out-of-school youth who are from low-income communities, have dropped out of school, and are unemployed, with providing them with, academic education, vocational skills training, personal counseling, positive peer support, leadership development, job placement and follow-up support.

Participants spend half their time in academic programming and half in learning skills in construction or urban agriculture, including building or rehabilitating housing for low-income families

Leadership development involves classes, activities, and leadership positions within the organization, providing a foundation for preparing youth to play important roles in their communities.
