ASTHMA BASICS: This course is a FREE one hour interactive online learning module designed to help people learn more about asthma. The course is ideal for healthcare professionals, as well as individuals with asthma and parents of children whit asthma.

HEALTH EDUCATION PROGRAMS: presentations, programs and assistance are available for schools, community groups, hospitals, businesses and other groups. Materials are available free or at a low cost which address smoking, agricultural respiratory hazards, air pollution, occupational lung hazards, asthma, general lung health, and lung diseases.

QUIT LINE: Telephone counseling and support available for those who want to or are thinking about quitting. 1-800-784-8669.

LUNG HELPLINE is a FREE helpline staffed by respiratory therapists and registered nurses available to answer lung health questions on topics including tobacco cessation, COPD, lung cancer, medication, clinical trials and more. Call 1-800-LUNG-USA (586-4872).

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP GRANT is dedicated to reducing tobacco use and the associated death and disease in Central Iowa. The program receives funding rom the Iowa Department of Public Health, Division of Tobacco Use Prevention and control and serves Adair, Dallas, Jasper, Madison, Marshall, Polk Union and Warren County.
