Provides the following WIC services evaluation, education and support on nutrition and breast feeding for expectant and breastfeeding mothers, available both at the Public Health office and through home visits.

Also offers a child passenger safety program, including education on car seat installation and provision of a new car seat at no cost upon completion of the program.

Offers breast examinations, Pap tests, and instruction on breast self-examination techniques for early detection of breast cancer.

The overarching goals are to decrease unintended pregnancies, reduce the transmission of sexually transmitted infections, and promote comprehensive health and wellness.

WIC (Women, Infants, Children) supplemental nutrition program which provides vouchers for nutritious foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to other resources and programs.

Clinic sites also available in Schuyler, Albion, and Fullerton.
Provides nutrition assessment, counseling, and supplemental food coupons. Certified lactation consultants available to help with any breastfeeding needs.
A federally funded program which provides special supplemental foods to eligible pregnant, nursing or post-partum women, infants, and children up to five years of age. Breastfeeding support is also available to participants of the program.

WIC is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children, administered in Illinois by the Department of Human Services (DHS) and is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

A WIC EBT card will be provided to families so they can purchase healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, milk, cheese, yogurt, eggs, peanut butter, beans, lentils, whole grains, 100% juice, cereal, infant cereal, baby food and formula.

Breastfeeding mothers may also receive tuna fish and salmon.

Provides eWIC Cards to purchase nutritious foods; nutrition and health education, breastfeeding support, and referrals for women, infants and children with a medical need.

Nutrition and health information to income risk specific clients who are pregnant, post-partum, or breastfeeding, or a child ages 0-5. Nutritional vouchers are given for purchase of items in local WIC approved grocery stores of choice.
