Offers a variety of activities and services for adults whose physical or mental impairments limit their ability to function in the community. Caters to people living with an acquired traumatic brain injury, and others who would benefit from a smaller, quieter, and more relaxed setting.

Provides activities, RN care, support, and involvement/socialization to individuals during the day who have physical and/or mental disabilities. Life Skills are offered to promote education and assist all participants interested in basic skills to regain or maintain their level of abilities to remain in their homes for as long as possible. The skills that may be worked on are, reading, writing, spelling, math, money skills and life skills. Also offered, care for the elderly and individuals who have memory loss and need support and assistance during the day.

Provides skill training, paid work opportunities, community integration and employment to individuals in order to enhance and maintain their independence in community living. The program gives support, assistance and advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Provides a daily structure centered around three areas of focus: Physical, Mental, and Social/Recreational.
Adult day services are available for any adult age 45 or older who desires social interaction and involvement with other adults, or who has experienced a decreased ability to accomplish daily tasks independently. This includes individuals with memory loss, mobility challenges, or other health concerns. Each center provides a coordinated program of professional services for adults in a community-based group setting.

Services include: Individualized plan for activity. Monitoring of health as required. Balanced meals and snacks prepared under supervision of a dietitians. Transportation may be arranged. Also available while enrolled: Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Podiatry, Bathing Salon, Beauty/ Barber Services, Massage.

Offers help to men and women who are seriously and chronically mentally disabled maintain and facilitate his/her adjustment and acceptance within the community. Each service recipient is unique and the program's pace is designed for each individual's capacity to participate on a positive basis.

Mental Health Drop In Centers

Provides care and supervision in a protective setting for adults with age-related disabilities during the daytime hours. Includes transportation from and to home in Waterloo/Cedar Falls and Evansdale area.

The Adult Day Center supports individuals with dementia, Parkinson's disease, and chronic health conditions that impact personal safety and limit them from staying home alone during the day. ADC offers a safe, environment by providing a variety of activities, meals/snacks, and individualized health monitoring. ADC also allows caregivers the respite they need to tend to other needs.

Each participant has an individualized plan of care developed with the involvement of family members and caregivers. ADC is a great alternative for those seeking a high-quality, cost-effective alternative to nursing home care.

Provides a safe environment during daytime hours for adults ages 18 and older who have physical or memory limitation. Facility allows caregivers an often much-needed respite knowing their loved ones are being cared for in their absence.
Adult day program that provides supportive services in a home-like environment for individuals with cognitive or physical disabilities that are unable to stay at home alone. The program is designed for those with the beginning to mild stages of Alzheimers, or another form of dementia, and allows participants to be independent with daytime adult supervision, while socializing with others and participating in therapeutic activities. There is a daily cost for the program and transportation is not included.

Residential rehabilitation provides a structured skill-building program within a group home setting.

Vocational services provides work-related training, both on and off the job, to assist individuals with mental illness to choose, obtain, and retain employment.

Peer Specialists are trained to assist those newly diagnosed with a mental health issue or are in the midst of recovery and need motivation. Peer Specialists offer insight for dealing with mental illness and how it impacts work, relationships, finances, health, and more. They also connect clients with resources and programs.

Homeless outreach services identify and engage persons who are homeless and have mental illness, and assist them to obtain housing, rehabilitation, case management and connections to other mainstream benefits. Staff meet clients in the community at shelters, hospitals, the jail system, and outside/on the streets as part of the Street Outreach team.

Assertive Community Treatment services provide a clinical team that delivers treatment, rehabilitation, and support services for persons in the community.

Case management services including assistance in applying for entitlements/financial aid, and coordination of services.

Community housing (e.g. apartments) linked with mental health rehabilitation and support services.

Family education services offer education and support to family members affected by mental illness. Individual and family sessions available. Family to Family classes offered every eight weeks.

Psychiatric Outpatient including medication management and counseling coupled with primary health care services. Also includes care coordination and health and wellness services.

First Episode Psychosis services for persons 14-34 years of age and experiencing first time with psychosis.
