The program aims to address chronic seasonal unemployment and underemployment experienced by agricultural workers by helping them cover costs related to career and training programs, such as tuition, books, tools, equipment, or stipends for class attendance.
Additionally, the program offers vocational assessment, job search assistance, and professional mentoring to prepare individuals for employment opportunities, including recognition of prior professional experience and obtaining initial work experience. Proteus administers the program as a recipient of the NFJP grant through the Employment and Training Administration, U.S. Department of Labor.

Senior Care Options program available to older Nebraskans who are considering admission to a nursing home and may be eligible for Medicaid assistance. Clients are screened according to a standardized assessment process developed by the Department of Health and Human Services.
Care Managers arrange for services, which allow older adults to live as independently as possible, for as long as possible.
Housekeeping and supportive services to include grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, transportation and personal care.
Family Caregiver Support for those caring for an aging adult or grandparents caring for a minor child. Provides information, assistance, support group, respite care, and supplemental services.
Home delivered meals are provided to homebound by reason of illness, disability or isolation. The meals meet 1/3 of the daily dietary recommended needs of adults 60 years and over and the requirements of the Older Americans Act and state and local laws.

Mission of the program is to collect and distribute new unwrapped toys as Christmas gifts to children ages 0-14.
Application will be taken at 1610 Pierce Street. From November 1st, 2025, through November 30th, 2025. Mon-Fri 10 am-6 pm, and Sat 12 pm-5 pm. Will be closed all four Sunday's November 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, and 28th.
