Generators will be filled with gas when delivered, and households are required to return it full. Borrower is responsible for hooking up the generator. If the borrower does not have the proper plugin, the generator cannot be used. Generators are not large enough to power an entire house.

Upon completion of the lessons, individuals may earn a homebuyer's certificate to take to your local lender. To earn a homebuyer's certificate, complete all six lessons and taking/passing the final test earns a homebuyer’s certificate. Many home loan programs require completion of a homebuyer course to qualify for a loan. Participants may access the course any time of day from any computer with Internet access.

Homestead exemptions provide relief from property taxes by exempting all or a portion of the valuation of a home from taxation; the percentage of relief is based on the applicant's income level and home valuation; applications accepted by June 30 each year, some late applications may be accepted under certain conditions (medically incapacitated, in a residential care facility, etc.).

Exemptions eligibility requirements:

Seniors:

- Be 65 years of age or older before January 1st of the application year.

Disabled Individuals:

- Have a permanent physical disability and cannot walk without the regular use of a mechanical aide or prosthesis.

- Have undergone amputation of both arms above the elbows.

- Have a permanent partial disability of both arms in excess of 75%.

Disabled Veterans or Widow(er) of a Qualified Veteran:

- A wartime veteran drawing compensation from the VA due to a 100% service connected disability.

- An un-remarried widow/widower of an above qualified veteran.

- A wartime veteran totally disabled due to a non-service connected illness or accident.

- A veteran whose home is substantially contributed to by the VA.

Other Qualifications:

- The valuation of the home cannot exceed 200% (225% for veterans and persons with qualifying disabilities) of the County's average assessed value for single family residences. (In 2017 the average assessed value was $159,840.)

- The maximum exemption available is 100% of the County's average assessed value for single family residences (120% for disabled veterans and persons with qualifying disabilities).

- The home must be owned and occupied between January 1 and August 15 of the tax year being exempted.

- The applicants must meet the income guidelines.

Works to help individuals, including those facing significant employment barriers, secure and retain high-quality jobs. The program assists people in finding employment, funds training when needed to gain or retain a position, and provides assistance in obtaining work permits or official documentation required for work authorization.

The Adult Program serves people who are at least 18 years old and, if applicable, registered for Selective Service. The Dislocated Worker Program serves individuals registered for Selective Service who have lost their jobs and meet dislocated worker categories defined in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

The Youth Program serves in-school youth (ages 14-21) and out-of-school youth (ages 16-24) who need assistance with training or education to enter the workforce successfully, with a focus on young people facing barriers to success. This includes government-subsidized summer employment programs that provide job opportunities in the public and private sectors during the summer months. Registration for these summer opportunities occurs during a spring application period.

A two day, free dental clinic for any child or adult who cannot afford dental services. No appointments will be taken. Patients are seen on a first-come/first-served basis. The number of patients seen will be limited by our clinic capacity. Expect a long day. Child care is provided.

Patients may receive a variety of services from cleanings, root canals, extractions and fillings. There are also a limited number of partial dentures available on a first-come/first-served basis. The clinic does not provide wisdom teeth extractions, crowns, full dentures or implants. During the dental triage process, dentists will evaluate patients to prioritize the services they will receive.

Patients must maintain their place in line while waiting to enter the clinic and cannot be gone for a long period of time for any reason. Once inside the building and a patient wristband has been issued, patients are not allowed to leave the building for any reason or they will have to return to the end of the line and re-enter the building.
