Grandparent aged volunteers serve as mentors, tutors and caregivers in schools and daycare classrooms for children and youth who need extra attention. Work one-on-one or in small groups under supervision of trained professional staff at school, Head Start and daycare centers. The program offers a tax-free stipend for those who meet income guidelines, transportation reimbursement, and monthly training sessions.

Inpatient unit for those in acute psychiatric crisis, which may include an acute psychosis or to prevent harm to him/herself or others.

The goal is to stabilize and then help the patient transition to a lower level of care once their thoughts, mood, behaviors have stabilized via medication management or through individual and/or group therapies.

Offers daytime homeless services including, use of shower, laundry, provision of clothing (if available), and case management.

Membership includes State and National Newsletters, discounted registration fees at conferences, and access to members-only area of the national website.

Provides case management and referral information to households to help them build and maintain stability within the family and household. Services may include some financial assistance to help reach stability.

Offers individual, couples, and family counseling, medication management, Substance use disorders, and domestic violence education.

Provides the city government departments and other city information. 

Jackson-Union County Habitat for Humanity offers a minor repair program for homeowners.

Project requests may only be for external repairs, including:

- Minor inside plumbing repairs.

- Minor roof repair on low slope roofs.

- Building or repair of small ramps.

- Minor repairs to porches or railings.

- Minor window or door repair.

- Partial weatherization.

- Minor inside wall repairs.

- Screen repair to windows and doors.

- Minor gutter repair and cleaning.

Project requests MAY NOT involve:

- Elective reconstruction or remodeling projects.

- Redecorating projects or unnecessary aesthetic changes.

Offers a food pantry with meat, eggs, canned fruits and vegetables, and dry goods. Fresh produce may be available.

Provides immediate, walk-in care for minor injuries and non-emergency illnesses that are not life-threatening but need early attention. Common conditions include sore throat, pink eye, flu, sprains, and strains.

Offers providers on site or through telehealth system to address an array of behavioral problems including depression, mood disorders, anxiety, alcohol and drug use for our primary medical patients. The behavioral health providers will work closely with the CHC/SEIA primary care providers who make the referrals to assist patients address their behavioral health concerns.

Offered through the congregate meal program allows clients to enjoy a nutritious meal in a local restaurant. Seniors purchase tickets at CRIS for a cost then can purchase a meal up to $10 in participating restaurants.

Provides capacity-building assistance to support and strengthen Hispanic community-based organizations as well as providing an Hispanic perspective on issues such as immigration, housing, health, employment and training, and civil rights enforcement through applied research, policy analysis, and advocacy

Provides confidential counseling to anyone, regardless of faith or background. Counselors help individuals, couples, and families maintain emotional health and strengthen relationships. Telehealth is available.

Offers supportive shared housing with furnished private and shared rooms in a structured, community-focused environment designed to promote housing stability and independence. 

Fresh produce and food near the "best by" date are donated from nearby grocery stores and the local farmer's market and then distributed for free at the WBRP Building.

Provides low income housing, 60% of the units in the complex are dedicated to Section 42 (Low-income housing tax credit- LIHTC) housing. The rest of the apartments have no income restrictions.
