Services may also include a baby boutique that provide baby furniture, clothing, and more. 

Provides monthly delivery or onsite pick-up of USDA commodity foods to income-eligible seniors.

Provides home health care services that allow individuals to continue living in the home while receiving medical care. Offers skilled nursing and home health aides, as well as physical, occupational and speech therapy. A medical social worker can also connect individuals to the resources they need.

Offers prenatal and parenting education offered in French/Swahili to members of the African Community via our weekly group meetings or home visitations. Staff understand the language and culture barriers and help families navigate.

Maintains county parks and recreation areas and provides hunter safety classes, camping, fishing and boating information. Outdoor recreational opportunities are available through county parks and outdoor wildlife areas.

Support group for stroke survivors, their families and caregivers providing education and encouragement for survivors.

Offers seniors in need of assistance in applying for benefits, such as Medicaid, Medicare, Food Stamps, Benefits Access Application, etc. Services also include information on local homemaker services, transportation, support groups, and recreation services.

List of in-home caregivers who have had criminal background checks, to hire for private duty, and offers referral to respite providers for families and/or individuals in need.

Provides transportation services on demand to those in need. Service provided is a curb to curb service throughout Henry, Stark and Western Bureau Counties. All rides must begin and end in Henry County. 

Offers clothing, shoes, and coats are provided to those in need at no cost. Shoppers are allowed to shop twice per month.

Offers a partnership with families receiving FIP to provide the support they need to gain independence from public assistance. The program is voluntary and does not affect FIP benefits; it is focused on families' success and growth.

Emergency operations center for the County, which handles emergency response incidents, including accidents, fires, floods, storms and other disasters. Also responsible for requesting federal assistance after a disaster.

Provides environmental health services that protect community environmental quality and safeguard public health by enforcing local, state, and federal regulations related to water, sewage disposal, and other environmental health issues. Services include well construction permits, septic system permits, Grants-To-Counties funds for private well water testing/rehabilitation, nuisance complaints for public health-related issues, and Radon testing. Also administers swimming pool and tattoo parlor inspections for the county.

Provides student-focused path for adults looking to strengthen foundational academic skills. Whether working toward a high school equivalency, improving reading, writing, or math, or building the skills needed for college or career training.

Provides information on Parkinson's disease, including its causes, symptoms, treatment options, and therapeutic activities to do at home. Also offers resources and insights to foster understanding and awareness about living with Parkinson's disease, promoting positive communication and interaction with individuals affected by the condition.
