DOVES Program, The - Alliance
Provides abuse and crisis intervention services to those going through a domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or sex trafficking situation. Services include a family violence crisis line, counseling or counseling referrals for survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault, emergency shelter and transportation, peer support groups, and child advocacy.
Protection order assistance, criminal justice/legal advocacy, and medical advocacy are also available to those who may need it.
Support group for victims of domestic violence. Open to anyone who is experiencing or has experienced abuse in an intimate relationship, including individuals who are still involved in the abusive relationship. Transportation available.
LifeWorks - West Des Moines
Provides a variety of counseling services for adults and children. Topics typically discussed include: depression, anxiety, physical/sexual abuse (victim and perpetrators), relationships, parenting, grief/loss, trauma, family issues, adoption, anger management, conflict resolution, childhood behavioral disorders, stress management.

Services include:
- Referrals to prenatal care schedule and scheduling OB appointment
- In office and in home visits by a nurse case manager
- Education related to topics, including nutrition, pregnancy, infant/child growth and development, and preventive medical services
- Referrals to medical care and immunizations
- Clinical visits include weight and BP checks as well as screenings for depression and development
- Referral to area agencies for any needed services in the family unit (food, clothing, shelter, daycare, transportation, etc.)
Genesis Garden
Provides an emergency shelter in the form of a large, remodeled Victorian era house with private bedrooms and bathrooms, with shared living, laundry, and kitchen access. Also offers emergency shelter at the Leighty House. Both houses are often at capacity, so Genesis Garden also uses motel rooms for emergency shelter.

Provides energy efficiency services without cost to homeowners or renters who meet guidelines. Installation of work measurers are determined and measured by a computerized energy audit. Work includes sealing air infiltration leaks, high-density insulation, health and safety check, heating system repair or replacement, water heaters repair or replacement. Some minor repair is allowable for health and safety reasons.

- LLCC After School Program: Enrichment program offered to Lewis Lemon students. Activities include homework help, board games, arts and crafts, gaming systems, and the opportunity to participate in organized basketball and football teams. A daily snack is provided. Students also have the opportunity to participate in the 1st Century Program, which offers help in reading, math, and science. The students of this program must be teacher recommended.
- LLCC Teen Evening Program: Offers open gym, gaming systems, and more. Staff keeps teens active and safe.
- WPCC After School Program: Provides an after school program for youth. A snack and boxed dinner are provided.
Activities include:
