Cross Outreach is a homelessness prevention program offering limited assistance with basic needs for households in transition, subject to available funding. Services include help with rent, security deposits, electric or water bills, laundry vouchers, storage costs, and support for moving-related needs. While assistance with car gas is not provided, the program also offers resources to help individuals maintain clean and sanitary living environments. ***Rent, security deposits, electric, water and laundry voucher assistance requires clients to email a help request on the 3rd Monday of every month between 8 am-8 pm.

Open Hands Food Pantry
Provides food and personal grooming supplies for people in need. Donations of food and grooming supplies appreciated. This is a participating TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) food pantry. Enrollment into TEFAP is confidential. Individuals participating in the FoodShare, School Nutrition Program, WIC, or Senior Meals programs may participate in TEFAP without impacting their ability to qualify for those programs. Regional Office of Education #33 - Monmouth
Provides homeless coordination services and a truancy program. Truancy Program assists schools and families with services to ensure children age 6-17 attend school and helps eliminate any obstacles that may prevent this from happening.
Homeless coordination works with homeless children to ensure free, appropriate public education including a priority to preschool programs, the choice of staying in the school of origin or attending the school nearest their shelter or temporary home, immediate enrollment even when medical records cannot be produced at time of enrollment, assistance with transportation, if needed, and helps families with supply needs (i.e., personal hygiene products, undergarments, school supplies, PE clothes, alarm clocks).
