- The sign-up is for children ages 18 and under.

State agency that has responsibility for enforcing state laws, investigating crimes, providing laboratory analysis of criminal evidence, gathering and sharing criminal intelligence, and providing expertise and resources to other law enforcement agencies throughout the state.

Call the YMCA to make a reservation for Meals on Wheels before 9 am.

Provides a meal program for any individual of any age or income. Meals are designed for those persons who have had a recent hospital stay & who are recovering at home or just need a hot meal on a daily basis. Special and Restricted diets can be observed. The meals are delivered Monday through Friday in the Washington city limits only. If you live outside of the city limits individuals may order meals and pick them up at the Main Y. 

Provides education assistance to area schools in areas of early intervention, special education, career awareness, math and science coalition, computer instruction/training, curriculum development, and nursing services.

Early Intervention Program serves infants and toddlers (birth-3 years) with disabilities. Services include screening, testing, referral, services, coordination of services, and implementation of Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP).

Offers autism support and training for parents, caregivers, teachers, therapists, grandparents, or anyone that is affected by autism.

Offers a free and confidential crisis line for veterans. Can also help with local suicide prevention coordinators, who can connect veterans to ongoing counseling and services in their area.

Child care for 132 children with 22 staff members.

Meals prepared on site (breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack), which meet USDA Child and Adult Food Program regulations.

Curriculum is based on Creative Curriculum, which prepares children for kindergarten.

Provides affordable, safe, service-enriched housing for low-income families.

The Resident Services Program, offered onsite by a Resident Services Coordinator, provides key activities and supports to residents for health and wellness, education (out-of-school time program), financial stability, housing stability, and community engagement.

Offers a range of programs at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels at the State university located in Bloomington-Normal.

Offers pick-up of used household items, clothing, grooming supplies, non-perishable foods, and other items. Does not accept major appliances.

Provides one week's worth of groceries to families in need. Activities and books available to children.

Offers classes covering a variety of important financial topics, including budgeting, managing debt, and improving credit, to help survivors move from short-term safety to long-term security.

Offers reading, Literacy, and Homework help during after school programming for K-12th grade students.

Offers support groups to anyone who is dealing with the death of a loved one, regardless of whether they were in the hospice program.  

Tax preparation for low income individuals/families and senior citizens (60 and over). Family Service Coordinators are trained to help prepare tax forms and/or answer tax questions. All offices are equipped to e-file, and coordinators also assist with Homestead Exemption preparation. No self-employed or farm returns are prepared.

For the 2024 tax season, clients must contact their local office for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Offers medical services for non-life threatening injuries and illnesses.

Services provided for:

- Cold and flu symptoms.

- Cuts, bruises, burns and stitches.

- Ear infections.

- Sore throats.

- Pulled or strained muscles.

- Urinary tract infections.

- Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
