Barn on Baseline, The
Provides long-term and continuing care for pets of senior citizens who require a hospital stay, physical therapy, and/or assisted living. Also provided is long-term boarding for pets of active and deployed military personnel.
The long-term boarding allows the owners of boarded dogs to maintain ownership of their pets, giving them peace of mind that their pets will be well-cared for in a comfortable facility. The program is monthly donation-based, depending upon income and ability to pay. Can be named in a pet trust as the designated caregiver for a pet and can fulfill any wishes of the owner in terms of long-term care or any adoption option.

All locations offer a wellness floor with cardio and weight equipment and wellness staff to assist. Most locations offer a range of group-exercise classes (high intensity, challenging, low impact, chair-assisted, fall prevention), active older adult and youth programs, open swim and lap times, swim lessons (including adaptive and adult), open gymnasium hours, pickleball, child watch, youth sports, and summer day camp.

- The Buena Vista YMCA Express is a co-op project in conjunction with Omaha Public Schools, located on the Buena Vista High School campus. It includes a unique wellness floor featuring eGYM and MX4 equipment. This location is a wellness-only 14+ facility.
- The Westview YMCA offers youth sports and sports camps, a splash pad, and it is attached to Omaha Public School’s Westview High School. Visit other locations to learn more about summer day camp opportunities.
- The YMCA Healthy Living Center is an adult-only location designed for individuals 30+, with a therapeutic warm-water pool and a wider variety of low impact classes and equipment as well as social clubs and activities geared toward active older adults.
- The Charles E. Lakin YMCA offers eSports.
- The Butler-Gast YMCA and Downtown YMCA locations accept registrations for youth sports and host practices and games in collaboration with the Maple Street YMCA.
- The Gretna Crossing YMCA has eGYM equipment and a splash pad. It is part of the Gretna Crossing Park that offers trails, disc golf course, and a water park.
- The Blair Family YMCA offers a fitness center, pool, and many activities for youth and adults regardless of ability to pay.

Coordinates and administers state codes related to environmental health and public safety. Services include issuing septic permits, inspecting septic systems, issuing well permits for water wells and geothermal wells for heating and cooling, inspecting wells, and conducting water testing. The program also investigates improper solid waste disposal, provides radon test kits, and conducts mold analysis to identify potential health risks in homes and other structures. Under the Department of Public Health, it enforces home sanitation standards by inspecting dwellings to ensure compliance with regulations regarding maintenance, sanitation, and safety, including the availability of hot and cold water, functioning sewage systems, and pest-free environments. Additionally, it conducts inspections of swimming pools, spas, and tattoo establishments in accordance with State Codes.

Provides qualifying veterans with affordable, permanent housing by building tiny homes. The veteran must be able to pay utilities, taxes, and insurance; there is no mortgage. At 10 years and 1 day, the veteran is given the title to the home.

Provides a Spanish grief support group for people facing similar challenges with grief. Individuals can share their experiences, coping strategies, and give emotional support in a confidential environment. There is also a group for children on the same day and time (pizza is provided for children's group).

Provides energy efficiency services without cost to homeowners or renters who meet guidelines. Installation of work measurers are determined and measured by a computerized energy audit. Work includes sealing air infiltration leaks, high-density insulation, health and safety check, heating system repair or replacement, water heaters repair or replacement. Some minor repair is allowable for health and safety reasons.
