Provides an outpatient cancer treatment in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center. Gives patients the benefit of accessing a wide range of outpatient services at one convenient location.

Reimburses for funeral and burial expenses when a person's resources and all other sources of payment are less than the DHS standard payment rates. The maximum amount that DHS will pay is $1,370 for a funeral and $686 for a cremation/burial.

Offers to protect the health and welfare of residents through the identification of potential communicable disease problems and to control the spread of infectious disease within the county. Offers investigation and follow up on communicable diseases, and an immunization program. 

Mental health services including outpatient psychiatric care, individual and family evaluation, medical management, psychotherapy, and group therapy.

Outpatient chemical dependency services.

Assists low-income veterans and their families in obtaining and maintaining permanent stable housing. Assists through strengths-based goal planning to address current gaps in the Veteran’s ability to secure or maintain stable and sustainable permanent housing. Services can include: Case management; Peer mentoring/advocacy from fellow Veterans; Linkage to VA and other community resources; Training in life skills, coping skills, and housing preparation; Linkage to specialists in budgeting, credit counseling, legal services, job preparation, and employment search; Temporary financial assistance to address housing barriers; Landlord/ tenant mediation

Offers guidance on topics including Medicare, and health insurance issues.

Supportive home for those recovering from drug and alcohol addiction; residents must abide by the rules of the home, including never using drugs or alcohol while a resident. Homes may house men, women, women with children, or men with children.

Provides counseling for individuals dealing with the death/loss of a loved one. Services include a bereavement camp for children ages 7-16, a grief resource library, and other grief support groups. Services may also offer support groups for grieving parents like adult bereavement, beyond baby blues, empty arms, homicide survivors, and parents with empty arms.
